My OH has a similar hoard - and doesnt work in the industry! Whats with all the chargers? We havea draw full of chargers and I am sure we dont have that many things that need charging:mad::mad: I think its a roundtoit job - need to sit down with a roll of sticky labels and sort through the lot- hmmm squadrons of pigs flying by:rotfl:

My OH regularly comes with more stuf "oh but they were going to throw it out cos it is old equipment.' I don't care! We don't need more and more stuff, most of which he never gets round to using cos he has so much already!!

And as for the chargers.....we have boxes full for different things, but he can then never find the one he wants!! I've lost count of the number of monitors secreted around the house and don't get me started on the boxes and bags fulls of wires and cables. I would throw them all but the response is usually "I neeeeeeed to keep that.":mad: The flying pigs will probably be passing by here soon too :rotfl::rotfl: Nice to know it's not just my house though :D

Well! If we typically hoard 28 things each, then I'm doing a lot of people a great favour - just got to find out who's missing their 28, and return them!

    So far today I've
77 cleared the sitting room window sill
    78 emptied a grot basket
79 (easiest of all) handed back a wrongly delivered letter

I've now got my eye on a load of filing. So far this year I've always found things I'd rather deal with but it doesn't shrink!

    hello all
the decluttering has had to take a back seat this week as I had a little baby boy in the early hours of Monday morning. All was straightforward with the delivery and we were home the same day. Had forgotten how much work a newborn is, and am trying to get as much rest as possible.
I have however got rid of following:
+ unwanted contents of 3 bounty bags
+ 2 vouchers from bounty bag - used
+ 2 gift vouchers - used to purchase baby stuff
Having decluttered a lot in the last few months is making it a lot easier to relax at home and keep on top of things. More to be done -- but that will have to wait!!

Today I lugged up all my recently decluttered items to the cs-two trips.

I've also got a few more items to list:

-2 bottles and 1 jar recycled
-3 toiletry bottles emptied and binned (I cut them open to use it all up)
    -1 scarf to cs
    -1 piggy bank to cs
    -1 glass frame to cs
    -2 jigsaws to cs
-3 manky cushions and 1 manky cushion cover binned
    -2 door hangings to cs

    I've also upped the stakes to 200,so that's 140/200.

I'm on holiday now for a week,so hopefully will get loads done.

    I might have more tomorrow.

Hope you all have a nice weekend.

    Congratulations museum worker!

Cleaned out the kitchen drawers and one cupboard this afternoon. Got rid of, amongst other things

    3 chopsticks.
    1 sweetcorn skewer.
    various used birthday cake candles
    mismatched tupperware/lids
menus for takeaways that we don't use.
    plus other bits and bobs.
    Illegitimi non carborundum.

Ha ha ha. Sorry to laugh at your misfortune but I could have written exactly the same thing about my OH and it's comforting to know I'm not alone!

I haven't done anything towards decluttering today. Been feeling a bit down in the dumps (work stress getting the better of me) and not really motivated. Sorry guys - feel like I'm letting the side down, but I will try to get back with it tomorrow.
