Did an hour and a bit this morning in the baby's room, whilst OH moved stuff around in the office. Both rooms now look SO much better - some stuff still to go but the cotbed is now in the right place and I can get into the baby's chest of drawers :D.

+ 1 teapot, sugar bowl, and 5 cups to friend - I LOVED this part tea set, but today was the day I decided to clear it... and today was the day that met friend's new fella for the first time - who spotted it straight away and said it would be lovely in his salon! All packed up and given to a very grateful new home.

Had a bumper haul today, hubby was out for a couple of hours this morning so I could really get stuck in.

Out of date tablets - going back to pharmacy
    Packaging from above - recycling
Scaled up kettle - electrical recycling
    Old iron - electrical recycling
    Aromatherapy set - charity bag
Manky sponge from bathroom - bin
Manky cloth from under bath - bin
    Oddments of soap - bin
    Shoe horn - charity bag
    Old parish magazines - recycling
    Children's book - charity bag
    Adult book - charity bag
3 boxes of LPs (about 120 of them!) - freegled and picked up
Crate of paperwork sorted and ready for shredding
Manky veg from fridge - compost bin
Old plastic soap dish - going to clean it up & put in charity bag

I'm still amazed at where it's all coming from, considering we must have got rid of about 1,000 items already since January!!!

Guess I must be one of those hoarders I keep hearing about!

Well done to you all for your decluttering.

We went to Cash for clothes this morning with 73 kilogramms of books (mainly books from the 80's which couldn't get sold on Zapper etc.) only got £7.30 for it but at least it is out of the house now. Also got rid of a black sack of clothes and got £4.50 for that, the wardrobe looks so much tidier today.Next thing to sort out is the shredding.

    Have a nice weekend.
