A bit more done this afternoon - 20 minutes in bedroom, and an hour in the spare/baby's room.
13-14 two old moses basket mattresses in recycling (bought a new one as the others were discoloured and didn't trust them with new baby)
15-23 9 cds to charity - not worth my time selling
24-25 two empty cd cases in recycling (why did we have them???)
26 3 pairs of OH jeans to charity (he got 2 new free pairs yesterday)
27 several free baby magazines - in recycling
28 National Trust mag - in recycling (who reads that anyway?)
29 bag of old receipts - torn up, in recycling
30 pair of broken earrings - in bin
31 can of glitter hairspray - in bin, started fizzing like mad when used it on DD earlier!
40 cds listed on Ama$on :j but will count them when they're actually out the door
Plus OH and I made a mobile for the baby's room from an unused craft set I had bought a year or two back for £1 from a charity shop. Hanging up now, looks gorgeous, is this one http://shop.tate.org.uk/childrens-gifts/alice-melvin-bird-mobile-kit/invt/9558/
Not decluttered as such, but used properly.
Ebay listings finish tomorrow, hoping all of it goes!
Had to give a jumble sale a miss today as needed to take DD to buy a present for a birthday party. A good thing as it meant I didn't bring any unnecessary stuff into the house!!

Might sort the towel cupboard tonight. Am sure I don't need 6 bath sheets, I'm the only adult in the house. The tots use their ponchos. Need to be ruthless. Same with bedding. Might fill another charity bag...Bossymoo

I'm watching The Hoarder Next Door and it's pretty interesting, I do see what he means when he says people can start with collecting and it turns to hoarding. My collection started to get out of hand so I got rid of most of it before it did. The worst thing was that I could so easily get rid of it why did I have it in the first place! I don't really like that he's just sending pretty much the whole lot to the tip and landfill though...
I'm gonna get to some eBay. I've got another load for the tip too, need to arrange a trip over there.0 -

We've started to decorate, OH has emptied the sideboard:eek:
Now I have to sort it and get rid of a few bits. I'm not a happy bunny:mad:0 -
Should probably point out that im in Oz and its 8am here (I dont want you thinking I'm ironing at 11pm at night!) L x
I do that all the time, and sometimes even in the early hours of the morning, lol, as I suddenly realise as I'm about to go to bed, that I've not ironed something that is needed for the next day!EndlessStruggle wrote: »I'm watching The Hoarder Next Door and it's pretty interesting, I do see what he means when he says people can start with collecting and it turns to hoarding. I watched this today and I was horrified that most of it was just being dumped, as a lot of it could have been sent to CS or offered on freecycle! I found it strange that he was more able to get rid of stuff when dressed as his alter ego, but whatever works I suppose.
This morning I found 2 drill bits, 3 screws and a hook in the spare room (?) which are now in the shed, a small pile of paperwork for shredding/recycling, and I've found 3 key rings to give to my dad, as he wanted one for each of his spare keys (he keeps losing his keys and likes to have some spares).
