    A bit more sorting today!

    57. Meeting papers - shredded
    58. Bed to tip
    59. Newspapers - RC

Two more items sold today on EB.

Hoping that I will soon start to notice a difference in the house!

Well, the mil is here, and as predicted she has kicked me into shape! All of the ironing is done (what a star) and I have recycled two boxes (64/100) and meal planned for tomorrow. I have sewed up the dolly's dress that got torn, and stitched a button back on that fell off my coat...

She is going to put the kids ironing away tomorrow, as they were in bed when she finished, and I'll be at work tomorrow. Think she's looking forward to having the tots to herself, even if they are a bit poorly...

    DS's old cot :( (he's 8 btw :o),

That's not so bad, I only got rid of my DS's cot last year, and he's 30, lol!
I dug out a load of baby clothes that I had knitted before I had my son but never got out - some I hadn't put buttons on so I utilised my button stash and have sewn on all the buttons and they are now bagged up waiting to go the the WRVS at the local hospital (I am hoping they will take them).

I did that recently. I had a box labelled 'knitting to finish', containing baby clothes I'd started knitting years ago, and a bag with some that I'd finished but never used, as they were pink and I had a boy (kept them in case I had a girl which never happened), when I looked through them, some were a bit old fashioned so I've unpicked them, and used the wool to make some more squares for my crochet blanket (again started years ago and only recently taken out again), and the others I will get finished and send to CS.

Yesterday OH put the shelf back up in the lounge, so the books are now back on it, he also took this week’s papers and junk mail to recycling centre, along with some cans and bottles.

Finally took DS’s stuff to his flat today, so also out are 4 boxes (3 containing the magazines to go with his figurine collections, and 1 containing a large Darth Vader figure), a bag containing folders to put the magazines into, and the paperwork and restore CD for his laptop. OH got confused about what decluttering is, and said we can’t count that as it’s not our stuff, so I had to explain that if it has left the house it can be counted, no matter whose stuff it is, lol!

3 'ins' today but not clutter, a box of chocs and a card from DS, and a bunch of flowers from MIL, because I managed to get her new cooker for £100 less online than she'd seen it in the shops.

Ok so I didn't do a charity sort. But I did bin some out of date bits from the fridge, half eaten yoghurt and a (now) empty bovril pot.

Tomorrow hoping to tidy the cupboard under the bathroom sink, and lose some carp from there.
