I've posted one ebay sale today, another sale finished this afternoon so will go as soon as they pay. I have sold so much stuff on facebook that I have lost count. I have a chair in the boot of DH's car (an armchair ) which is going tomorrow. There's a set of curtains and a blow up sofa too.
Oh well, it's gradually going down and the flat is getting clearer too.

Tidied under bathroom sink, but i must have been there before as even though there are 4 huge bottles of tresemme shampoo, they are the type I will use. Did get rid of some packaging and an empty toothpaste tube though. Did it before 7 this morning as it's bin day.

At work now so no more until later, unless you count decluttering my packed lunch.

The chair has gone! I have taken a car full of stuff to the tip too. I have someone interested in a floor cushion and someone who wants to collect 4 chairs from me but is now not replying (having made it sound really urgent when they started asking when they could collect- grr!).
I wish people wouldn't contact you about stuff if they have no intention of following it up. I've now been tied to the computer for an hour waiting for her to reply to a simple message.
I have put the time to good use and emptied all of the postage reciepts from my purse. The ones which have recieved feedback have gone in the recycling bin and the others can wait until the feedback has been recieved. At least I can close my purse again now though :).

Going to sort out my wardrobe as well, plenty in there for the eBay pile! My eBay box is full once again, might list them this weekend as I am away Monday to Friday bu can check on them on my phone.

After a couple of days of work and the shaming sight of the utter gorgeousness of my son's friend's family home, I have been decluttering and tidying for the last 2 hours!

    23. Old beach bag, bin.
    24. Broken scanner, bin.
    25. Kids' old dried up paints, bin.
    26. Colouring books they've grown out of, recycling bin.
    27. Huge cardboard box cluttering understairs cupboard, recycling bin.
    28. 2 pairs outgrown girl's shoes, passed on to friend.
    29. 2 pairs outgrown boy's shoes, passed on to nephew.
    30. Dd artwork from 2 years ago, bin (apart from the 2 best ones).
    31. Books to go to charity shop.

For the first time since we moved in I can now put the hoover in the understairs cupboard!!

20 bin bags over spilling with our possessions (me n 5 year old son) taken to dump... all of it in great saleable condition, but I never get round to selling it!
When i went back with the second car load, the guys had basically taken my bags home with them!
Got rid of an old dishwasher too, had put it on fb and gumtree, but no one interested
Next room to do is sons, his bed is broke, so ordered a new one, its coming at the Easter weekend, so that's my deadline to get the two rooms done, and then I will have a very managable house that I can then work on daily to keep neat and clean instead of a daily amount to clear an area!

  • I'm back from town. I just got given a bag of books for eBay as my friend was going to throw them away! so will list them when I get back. I can't believe she was putting them in her bin! They are all old ladybird and enid blytons. Also got a lovely bodywarmer for my nephew in the charity shop, will give that to him when he is next here. I might relist my items tonight so that they will be done by the time I get back.

I have taken another car full to the tip today. I've also got myself banned from my local selling group :(. Hopefully they will add me back on or at least tell me exactly what I did wrong. It's very annoying.
It's nice weather here today so I've got the washing on the line. DS has swimming this evening so I will just relax while he's there.
I think I'll get started on my portfolio as I still haven't managed to do anything with it despite it having been sitting there taunting me for months now. After all, there's no point me sitting watching my facebook sale items anymore, I can't reply to any of my posts :o.

Your selling group sounds like mine. The "power" has all gone to their heads and people get banned for stupid reasons and there are time limits on how often you can bump your items and limits to what you can list. You have to offer items to the first person who asks about it. It is really pathetic! I am relisting my stuff but putting that I am on holiday next week so won't be able to answer questions.

Im relisting my items but writing that I am on holiday next week.
