Decluttering 2012, this year, definitely ...

Yes ours has that you can bump up to 6 items every 4 hours. You are allowed to message someone if you have something they want but is too far away. Eg: someone was selling a pushchair but they were too far awy for the person who wanted it. I commented to that person that I had one in the same town as her. Re-checking the rules, apparently that's not allowed.
I was selling a table and chairs (2 photos) so I bumped the chairs and someone asked about the table. I tagged them on it. I've probably got a strike because they'll now count that as more than 6 bumps in the 4 hours as I also answered her question and told her I'd tagged her.
The trouble is, you can't message a lot of people. Those you can, often won't even realise that they have a message because it doesn't show up against their messages. I had 5 in my 'other' folder the other day which I knew nothing about .
I've done some work on my portfolio. Well, I've thrown about a ream of waste paper and dug out all of my certificates. They now await plastic sleeves and adding to a folder. I can then start adding the big wodges of paper to plastic sleeves and putting them in a folder too.
It's depressing all of this portfolio malarky!Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -

I am going to clear out my food cupboards tomorrow. In reality, I have a double wall unit, 2 single wall units and the cupboard above my cooker which are used for food. I want to get them properly sorted out so that I can find everything in there. I don't feel that they work for us with the layout as is.
Any suggestions for grouping food items please?Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -
I have sorted through the blanket box, result is a CS pile that MIL has taken, and she's also taking a carseat, baby carrier and yoga mat so
74/100
I also bundled the rest of the clothes so have some good eb@y bundles in 0-3, 3-6, 6-9, 9-12 and 12-18mths for little girls. Just need to photo, weigh and see if I can package them, and get them listed. Might try do that today...
I also have an electric toothbrush. I ordered one ages ago, which I received, then 2 wks later got another, unannounced, so am going to sell that too :shocked:Bossymoo

Well I've done my kitchen food cupboards this morning. I am so pleased with how they are now. I can see that I still need to tweak some of my stocks. I have lots of tubs of cake decorations which we barely ever use so I'm going to make a concerted effort to start using these up now. I had 4 tins of treacle in a cupboard. All BBE 08/09. So I've used 1 whole tin to make a double batch of ginger cake. It smells delicious and uses cloves (of which I have several bags ) and plain flour which I also have several bags of. So I'm a happy bunny there. I had to delay putting it into the oven for 15 minutes though as my school run involves 2 schools so I would not have been back in time to rescue it from the oven.
I do hope it's ok. It was somewhat prophetic actually because as I was mixing it all up, I had a text message from DD's school saying that there's a cake sale tomorrow which I had forgotten all about. So I can make some cupcakes to get rid of some more ingredients(and cake cases which I swea are breeding!).
All of this in preparation for my order from AF which I hope doesn't arrive until Monday or Tuesday.
I have also managed to sell a double bed and a tv stand to someone from the facebook buying group. She placed a wanted message and I PM'd her. So that's good.
I think I will have to wait for a couple of months before I request to rejoin them though. I seem to have been declined. Funnily enough, no message yet thoughDebt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -
Ive got a seperate facebook with my name then selling page so Joe Bloggs Selling Page or maybe set up your own group. Like for example Joe Bloggs Things for Sale in London or if you can see the posts mail people who have missed out on say a table if you have one for sale. That is so silly really! I remember out group was set up as a avoid ebay fees kind of thing by one woman and now all these other ones have taken it over as she well she has a life lol and couldn't keep up with all the complaints.0

I think I will just keep on checking out the wanted ads for now to see what there is. I think we had got through most of the sellable stuff from the flat. I will do some more tip runs on Tuesday after I have delivered the bed and tv stand.
They need to go up and sort through more stuff to see what's what so that I can get going on the next load of listings. No idea when we'll get another FLW. Sods law it'l be next weekend when I'm on cub camp!Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -
