Anyone else find it easier to throw out other people's stuff than their own?!
Definitely, I certainly found it easier getting rid of some of my dad's stuff when he was moving into his retirement flat.
I've not done much this week, apart from sorting mail as it comes in and shredding/recycling as necessary, and I've had a totally CBA day today, but I have got another pile of used envelopes to take in to work tomorrow. Also got loads of washing done and dried out on the line over the weekend, and only got a small pile of ironing, which I'll try to do tomorrow.
Yesterday I did a bit of cluttering instead, lol, when the shelf that holds some of my cookery books in the lounge collapsed as I took a book off it, and the whole lot fell down on me, and ended up all over the floor! Luckily I wasn't hurt, just shaken, (and my lamp didn't get broken, phew!) but I now have 2 piles of books on the lounge floor until OH gets the shelf put back up, which won't be until at least Saturday.

Over the past few weeks there has been more going out than coming in, so making some progress.
Bit the bullet and got rid of three bags of books today as I will never find time to read them all.
Have bags of wool everywhere, so will sort them next

The lady said I'd have to take whatever they had been reduced down to but they were still full price! Worth remembering for school uniform, I suppose it's because they don't update the styles. Saved me putting it on eBay!:DMake £2020 in 2020 £178.81/£2020

Hi, here's today's so far:
15. Shredded the pile that normally lives next to the shredder and emptied it.
16. Tidied out 2 kitchen drawers, chucked out/rehomed what wasn't required.
17. Cleared out the cupboard that the ironing board lives in. Was so bad you could barely close the door! So that was more for the bin and recycling.
18. Put the 12 tins of beans that had been living on the landing (the joys of bulk buying!) into said cupboard.
19. Sent my old phone to o2 recylce. Had been meaning to do that since last nov.:o
20. All the tools from broken dyson will go on ebay.
Thank you for this thread, I might have done maybe one of these today but wouldn't have kept going without the motivation of posting.Make £2020 in 2020 £178.81/£2020
