    78 - 82) 6 chipped items from the kitchen
    83) 1 bottle of out of date herbal remedy:o

10 assorted lots on eb@y, won't be counted till sold!

    84) 1 vintage photo album (bought 1970 something!)
    85, 86, 87) 3 inches of paperwork to recycling
    88) 1 inch of paperwork shredded (appraisals from 2002, anyone?:D

New shower in, old shower out... bad week for electronics! Cheaper to buy new shower than buy replacement innards for the old one (roll eyes smiley)

ETA: no, bookcases are very cool and well worth getting excited over!

And Guylian chocolates can be used in lieu of chocolate chips;)

Well I felt guilty sat on sofa listing on ebay as OH ran up and down stairs cutting tiles for the shower cubicle and tutting every time he came past so I moved my backside and turnerd my attention to my study and OMG it has a wooden floor, who'd have guessed.:rotfl:

In the process of just putting stuff back where it belongs and hoovering up I also managed to declutter

    40. Old and broken board game - to bin.
    41. Large cardboard box to be saved - to shed (technically decluttering as it needs to be saved and has gone to a permanent home).
    42. Christmas Nativity scene returned to work - why was it in my house!!!!!
    43. Old candle holders to recycling.

I also decluttered up the old cat sick from behind the computer desk that I had no idea had been there,:o but didn't count it in my total for obvious reasons.:rotfl:

My next BIG challenge is all the card making stuff that I have accummulated over the last 10 years, but since starting work and discovering beading/jewellery making have not been doing.

Another financial link involved here as I know that I have spent literally thounsands of pounds on this stuff in the past, but it goes for peanuts on ebay, but all the usual suspects will come out of the woodwork if I offer it on freecycle - any suggestions?

I feel your pain with the craft stuff. I freecycled a load recently and chose a scout group as the recipients. The local scrap store also asked for it - so that might be an option if you just want shot of it and have one near you. Or pack it up into small kits and donate it to a charity shop/sell them as kits on folksy.

    3 purses given away (empty!)

I'm going to look through old theatre programmes to see if I can let them go - if not will find a tidy home for them.

Some paperwork not to be destroyed - all the different tax code notices that I've been sent since I retired. I'm still not sure that I have the right code but that's for a different forum.

Paint samples and half-filled tins of the stuff - you are next on the list.

I too have loads of card making stuff that I don't want although I am still making cards. I list it on Eb.. - at least I get something back for it. I wouldn't Freecycle it - as it would probably end up on Eb.. and others would profit instead of me.

  • :wave:Hi

Have been avidly reading this thread. Have got rid of 25 books on bookzapper - getting £11 but I didn't want/need the books so I'm happy to be rid of them!
Will have to look at amazon trade in for other books and some ds games as I need to get rid of books to make space for other stuff.

I find you all very inspiring as I need to declutter and never seem to get anything done about it!
