  • Take care Endless and those feeling poorly.

Doctor finally put me on thyroid meds this morning. I'll be swinging from the ceilings again in no time, hopefully! Yay. But think I overdid it yesterday and feeling pretty crook today. NO decluttering apart from the 8 eBay packages I posted after seeing doc. Seing a friend later who's going to take a white unit that I'd kept in wardrobe - no longer need it since I decluttered! so that takes me up to

    58/100 ditch 100

Have some more eBay sales that finish tomorrow so will be decluttering them via PO on Sat! Hoping that after today's rest I'll be up for more decluttering tomorrow!

Get well soon to all the ill declutterers - I had to zzzz on the sofa for a bit whilst the DDs played nicely for half an hour, feeling urghhhh but there's only 1 day till the weekend :)

8 items sold via facebook collected
DD1 sorted through her clothes and found 6 things to put away for DD2
Sorted through their underwear drawers (both full to bursting esp since getting several sets of knickers and socks at xmas). DD1 kindly donated some knickers to DD2....was made to put these on the top shelf of the wardrobe to save for when DD2 is big enough, but I think they might 'mysteriously' disappear to the bin sometime soon!
Several pairs of DD2's knickers and socks gone (she's a swine for keeping things till they fall apart, just like her father, so these really were ready for the bin!) as well as 6 hardly worn vests to sell/donate and a pair of tights
PJ & tight drawer sorted through - 2 pairs of pjs to save for DD2, 2 pairs to sell, 1 swimming cossie to sell, and some neat and tidy drawers! - For how long I don't know lol.

I spend far too much time on here obviously as I must have posted 10 times in the last few days lol, I really should leave the laptop switched OFF so I don't get distracted reading threads about anything and everything on here - everyone has such interesting lives I just can't help myself!

  • Well I planned to begin this year decluttering big time but have been very slack, have not been ebaying as I thought Jan would be a quiet month on eBay but it has actually not been grr.
I have only today finished clearing out empty boxes off Xmas toys! Would have loved to do the 100 challenge but not sure I can do it in what's left of the month but will give it a go anyhow
    Here goes

    1. Recycled boxes from Xmas toys
    2. Posted some clothes to a friend that ds has outgrown
    3. Sorted out dd's hair accessories and binned old useless ones

Off upstairs with a bin bag so will update more tonight x
    Ditch 100 in January challenge 3/100 :A it's a start!
  • Good start Squeaky! You never know, you might find yourself reaching 100 - after all there are still 2 weeks until Feb!

Squeekysue, if your house is anything like mine youll be suprised how quickly you reach the 100! Whatever number you reach is a step closer to clutter free home! xx
  • Thanks guys, yes my house is clutterville! All 4 of us here have far too much stuff and my loft is heaving. I would ultimately like to declutter my loft ie empty it lol so we can have a loft conversion for an extra room but it will be a loooong process and really need my house to be clutter free before I start pulling stuff down from loft. Right off to decongest the contents of my sc for my tea ;)

    Hello all :)

Not much to report today except one picture framed and hung and the tools put away afterwards :rotfl: still it's one more to add to my list!

I'm off to declutter the hundreds of pictures on my laptop now and choose some more to print and frame :)

    Have a good evening all
