:j:j for being under £100K
We are under that amount on both parts of our mortgage
Its when you add them together its not
I have made chocolate cheesecake this afternoon to take to work for tomorrow, so tempted to lick the spoon but I stayed strong and sabotaged BF's weight loss by feeding it to himMortgage Aug 12 £165K, Aug 19 £0

Where did you get the L'Ocitatine handcream freebie from TYO (although I have a free body shop hemp cream so don't really need another

Hey Katsu it was a facebook voucher - Im not sure if it is still running but if you search thier fb page and "like" it I think thats how you get the voucher - think it is either on freebies/grabbit board on here too!
Thanks GG , natty and Radish ...oooo Radish , chocolate cheesecake nom nom, I wouldnt have been able to be that disciplined!!
Right- off to work now as got a mentally busy couple of weeks playing catch up !! want a holiday....0 -
Afternoon and hope all are well!
Plodding along with moneysaving here with a quiet weekend on the sofa and two Nsd's !;)
Last item sold on amazon so have made around thirty quid or so since Xmas !
Just counting down the two more weeks till payday now.!0 -
The food poisened me
i wont go into specifics but lets say i put the food in and it comes back out any way it can
I am just able to eat again after 2 days of fasting (i know thats not unusual for me but normally i can scavenge crumbs, but couldnt even face them!).
But on the plus side as TYO has rightly said my mortgage is now under £100k (just) that combined with our house fund increasing means that we are doing well (financially). So as and when its time to move we should have enough deposit to get a decent mortgage without even taking into account the extra we get from selling my flat, and then that can be used to hammer the start of a joint mortgage OP0 -
Oh dear MYTO
. Glad you're on the mend and great news on the mortgage :j.
Quick tip - don't eat anything TYO dishes up unless you've seen her try it first.

Yes poor old mrtyo has been poorly!!
:(
BUT I would like to set the record straight I did not poison him as I did not cook the food in question....
I have cooked us both food today none of which has poisoned anyone! ... I dont know where Ive given the impression Im out to harm poor old Mrtyo!!:eek: (he said earlier that I was a very good nurse Ill have you know!!)
We have saved money not going out anywhere since friday tho! ...silver lining and all that (not that I would wish being ill on anyone!... still hoping its not catching!! eeek!!)
On the plus side I have been eating quite healthy and think I may have lost a couple of lbs! :T
Also contemplating ordering veg/fruit boxes from now on as an effort to be more healthy - good tips? does anyone do this regulalry? am trying to weigh up whether it would save money in the long run?
PS Just checked house fund and we are at around £36000 taking FD accounts into the equation! - not bad at all!0 -
Afternoon all hope everyone is enjoying the weekend! Feels almost like spring is on the way outside
Just over 100 pounds into house fund from forgotten about expenses ! Mrtyo much better now too which is good.
Just over a week till.payday so nothing too exciting going on before then managed to get five pounds free shopping voucher thru one of the delivery box co's so that'll help offset food costs till then. I must say the whole horsemeat scandal has put me off the supermarkets somewhat!!!0
