Not sure on the relaxation target yet but definitely not yoga, I tried it once and it was too flipping hard and my back couldn't cope with it.I'm really sad, I'm doing The Apprentice, Bake Off & Strictly this year.
SAD? That sounds great. In fact, throw in I'm a Celeb and Celebrity X Factor and I think you've pretty much cracked November's relaxation target. You're welcomeLBM Dec 2011. Aimed, but failed, to clear all unsecured debt by Feb 2019. Finally free of unsecured debt 21st May 21!

I sometimes feel I'm losing whole days because there's a serious lack of 'get up and go' around, when what I really want is to crack on and have this place looking good instead of a muddle, and then get cracking on a long list of projects I've started and had to drop for one reason or another. I think we all do that, don't we? I'm sure your place is more than acceptable, because otherwise your business wouldn't succeed. There's a good quote I've heard, along the lines of 'don't let Perfect get in the way of Good'.
Right now the dining table is covered with apples and pears that need to be made into something lovely for the winter but it's been that way for THREE WEEKS! As for the facewipes, I've been using loo paper for years to wipe the cleanser/toner off my face and my inate stingieness dictates re-usables would be a better idea; plus which I like having something to do with my hands when I'm watching TV. (Although it makes watching Spiral a bit tricky - I kept going wrong last night.) I need to make them at a rate of two a day to keep up until I have enough to keep me going until I can chuck them in the washing machine. They're small, quick and easy - usually.
Best wishes, Stumpy

Sleep. Last night was 5 hrs and 24 mins for a score of 65 'fair'. Thanks for asking Honey, the Horlicks did help me back to sleep on Sunday. I love the stuff, I've completely given up my nightlie Pepsi Max since I discovered it.
Weight Still platinum-plate procrastinating on the scales return. I hate returning stuff generally, but this is even worse because I can't find the receipt. I've found the entry on my bank statement which apparently Argos will accept. I don't know how they can know that transaction relates to my scales so I hope it's not a problem.
Ten NCD Nope. I give in. I'm going back to 'one sweet treat daily' where I only fail 50% of the time
Nails They're breaking and cracking and splitting, but I suppose that's to be expected after the years of abuse. I will persevere and hopefully they'll get stronger as time goes on. I'm going to focus on the eight nails for now, and for November I will include my thumbs and the skin around all the nails, which I am still eating.
On Monday Mr H and I are going on a mini-holiday to Wales for three days, so I give advance notice that I will fail on EVERYTHING except (I hope) my nails.LBM Dec 2011. Aimed, but failed, to clear all unsecured debt by Feb 2019. Finally free of unsecured debt 21st May 21!

I've often wondered what Horlicks tastes like but I guess I'll never find out because it contains that pesky gluten.

I never worry about returning stuff. What's the worst that can happen, they refuse the return? I'd be no worse off than if I hadn't tried.

It's flipping hard, isn't it? I sometimes find if I can do it for a few days in a row then it gets easier because the cravings reduce after the first couple of days. That said, you need to do what works for you!

Sounds like a plan concentrating on the eight nails and ignoring the thumbs for now. I seem to think that's how I did it too and to be fair, I still bite the skin to this day.

The mini-holiday sounds lovely and you should absolutely fail at everything (except the nails) while you are away. OH has a week off in November so I am intending to do the same then.0 -

2) To meal plan at the end of the week for the following week - All done for the week.

By the time they were finished, there was dust on everything. Anyway, last night with OH's help, I have managed to deep clean the main bedroom, not that we had much choice, we couldn't go to bed until it was done. We'll probably do another one tonight and then finish off at the weekend.

Dolphin Horlicks tastes like warm, wet maltesers. I suppose maltesers contain the pesky gluten too though, so you might not be familiar with them. Hmm, kind of malty and sweet and milky. If ever you're in the room while someone else is drinking it, have a sniff.
You're right of course about returning stuff - what's the worst that can happen? I particularly hate it if there's only one member of staff serving and there's a queue shuffling and tutting behind me - and particularly this time when I can't even find the bloomin' receipt! But they were expensive, I've done nothing wrong, and I will do it. Gulp. Will you come with me? :rotfl:
Your windows are in! Very exciting, and it should help keep your house warm and your bills low. Windows are one of those jobs like our utility room - costs a lot but when the builders go it doesn't really look massively different. A sensible spend though.
So, yesterday:
Sleep. Last night was only 6 hrs and 8 mins but earned a score of 81 'good' so it must have been high-quality snoozing. I feel quite proud
Weight Blah blah, still not returned scales, still no idea
Ten NCD Nope. Still on just three days, and for two of those I was so ill I couldn't get out of bed. Obviously not my forte and this one won't be featuring in Noble November!
Nails Two of the eight have disappeared. I have no idea what happened, I don't recall cutting, biting or breaking them, but as it's the middle finger on each hand I suspect I may have had a sleepy nibble.LBM Dec 2011. I do remember loving maltesers but I can't remember what they taste like now. I'm not sure I would have liked them warm and wet though.

Who cares about the other people in the queue? You are never going to see them again anyway. You can do it!!

One of the advantages to renting is that someone else pays for repairs so at least we haven't had to fork out for the new windows. The previous windows were very draughty and let in a lot of noise so we should definitely be warmer and hopefully it will be a lot quieter too.

Oh dear, you were doing so well too. Is this target staying for Noble November? I have confidence you could crack it if you perservere.

Sorry I've been awol! Everyone on here has put me to shame with regard to posting! Re. targets I've been pretty good on the calorie/plant based diet and my weight loss so far as from last Saturday was 2 stone!
My stretching targets have been rather haphazard though - some days better than others.
Have been thinking of new targets coming up for Noble November - I do have a particular one that I actually have started doing every November for the last two years so that will take care of one target. Thinking cap on for another! Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟
