Seasidegal You're back! I was looking round your diary the other night and getting a bit worried. Two stones weight loss is MASSIVE - that Icelandic pony won't even notice you're there! I daresay the vegan diet is helping. Your Noble November target sounds intriguing. This time next week we'll be on them and I've got mine all planned and ready.
Dolphin Hope you managed to get most of your bedroom deep-cleaning done so you don't have to spend all weekend on it. I don't know just whereabouts you are, but if your weather is anything like ours it's a good job they went in earlier in the week. It's been pouring down all day, pretty dangerous driving home with all the surface water and the fast drivers.LBM Dec 2011. Aimed, but failed, to clear all unsecured debt by Feb 2019. Sleep. A mighty 4hrs and 16 mins last night for a score of 63 'fair'. It didn't feel fair. The Happy Dog woke me up at 4:30 am needing the loo so I let her out but then couldn't get back to sleep before my alarm went off at 6. Everything crossed for tonight.
Weight No idea, but I have given the scales a good wipe down ready for their trip to Argos. That's pencilled in for next Thursday when we're back from Wales and Mr H is can come with me to be assertive. (That won't work, he's more of a wuss than me.)
Ten NCD Nope. Still hopeless.
Nails I bought some of the nasty stuff today after my middle-finger incident. It's got strengthener in as well, so hopefully that'll do both jobs. If only it was on my fingers rather than still in my handbag. Tomorrow, definitely.LBM Dec 2011. Aimed, but failed, to clear all unsecured debt by Feb 2019. SSG - Nice to 'see' you! 2 stone weight loss is amazing and puts me to shame, I can't even manage 2 pounds. I'm another one that's intrigued by your November target.
Happy Now - The bedrooms aren't quite done yet. One is completely finished, the second is 80% there and the other one isn't started yet. We are waiting for a curtain rail to be fitted in the room we haven't started and I'm not sure how much mess that will make so we have been putting it off.
Wasn't the weather just awful from about Friday lunchtime to Saturday lunchtime. The surface water on the roads and the pavements was like rivers and thankfully OH was working from home on Friday because a lot of trains were cancelled and it was taking people 3-4 hours to get home instead of the normal 30 minutes.0 -

Gosh, 4 hrs 16mins! How did you function on Friday?

So next Friday I am expecting you to tell me about your trip to Argos now. No more excuses!

It'll be interesting to see if this works.

Thanks Happy. Two stones is good but doesn't show up on me as much as other people as I'm 5ft 9in and still got a lot to lose! I only lost half a pound this week so have to have a long hard look at my calories as I think I'm beginning to let things slip. I still have 2 stone 5 and a half pounds to get to Pony weight! At this rate he'll take one look at me put his ears back and bolt!:rotfl:Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Thanks Dolphin! My November target isn't that exciting. Posters on here have been using some forms of it for their last two months' targets. It is a little involved though.
Weather has been absolutely dire I agree! Complete change around today though - a lovely sunny, crisp autumn day here today in Seasideville! Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

I sympathise having been a nail biter with weak nails myself. I cured it by having nail extensions which are extremely tough! Not very MSE though and am now reliant on them. God knows what state they'll be in if I ever stop having them!:(

Hi SSG and Dolphin
I've been a poor sleeper for a good few years now and I function reasonably well on 5/6 hours - sometimes it's more, sometimes less. Recording it this month has been really interesting and actually quite reassuring because even when the figures have been low I've coped OK. I'd love to go to bed each night confident that I'll sleep through until morning but unfortunately that rarely happens.
Update of the day: I WENT TO ARGOS TODAY AND RETURNED MY SCALES!! We were driving near the store so I grasped the nettle. We were there ages while they tried to trace the transaction via my bank statement entry, but there was a glitch on their system and they couldn't do it. After half an hour they gave up, apologised for keeping me waiting and sent me off with a brand new set!LBM Dec 2011. Aimed, but failed, to clear all unsecured debt by Feb 2019. Sleep. I woke up feeling like I'd had a really good night but the Fitbit said I only managed 5hrs 6 mins for a score of 68 'fair'. Maybe changing the clocks messed it up.
Weight Scales now all set up and linked to my Fitbit, but I'm not going to weigh myself until tomorrow morning so I can stick with the 'post-wee, pre-drink' routine. SSG - I'm only 5ft 2in so the half stone I need to lose makes a big difference to me. I'm aiming for 8st 7lb.
Ten NCD Officially abandonned!
Nails I've applied the nasty stuff and been shocked at just how often I've put my fingers in my mouth. It is VILE. It smells like nail varnish but tastes like poison. It's also shiny which looks a bit odd because I've painted it all over the skin around my fingers, but hopefully I won't need it for long.
Right, that's my targets finished until Thursday. We're off to Wales bright and early tomorrow morning. I won't even be trying for NCDs and will doubtless gain an extra pound or two on our dinner, bed and breakfast package, which also includes cream teas! And I'll probably sleep even worse in the strange bed even though I will be packing my own pillow again!
I won't be posting but I will be readingLBM Dec 2011. Aimed, but failed, to clear all unsecured debt by Feb 2019. Finally free of unsecured debt 21st May 21!

HappyNow - Very well done for taking the scales back even if Argos did mess you about a bit. :T Have a fantastic break in Wales!
I appear to have missed a few days updates so here is where I'm at...
1) To have at least 15 NCDs - I have had a couple more since last Wednesday so I am now on 12 NCDs.
2) To meal plan at the end of the week for the following week - All done for the week ahead.
3) Be in bed by 10.00pm and light out by 10.30pm Sunday to Thursday - Can't remember so let's say yes to every night.
4) At least 40 minutes walking during the day 6 days a week - Some on Thursday, a lot on Friday (a couple of hours at least), very little over the weekend.
5) Deep clean the bedrooms - I couldn't wait for the curtain rail so one room is 100% done, another 80% done and the other is now finished with the exception of the curtain rail.0
