    That is excellent, thank you!

Will go with the slightly relaxed 'one week at room temperature' approach, that will fit in well with relaxed christmas preparations :)
Can't think of anything smart to put here...

Does any one know where I can get some keys for Santas Magic Key. Not seen any good prices yet, needs to be a good price as making to sell. I have seen some on eBay but the sizes are quite small.

I don't know if many of you use them (we used them for our wedding invite cards) but I've just seen PDA Card and Crafts have their Christmas stock in. (Just got a holly punch for £3.37 - the cheapest for the same one is on ebay for £4.40).
  • i got mine in wilkinsons last year
they were 2 for 99p (2 different sizes, both suitable for a mug)

if you wish to keep the costs down
    chocolate coat spoons
you can use the same small bags you will need for the mini marshmallows

i have done wooden teaspoons before, but no the plastic ones
but i had them as i made plant markers for the garden with them

Finished making this yesterday. :) It just needs some glitter adding to it - just waiting for the glitter and spray mount to arrive. Thinking of putting a fair amount of spray mount on to protect it and hopefully stop the newspaper yellowing.
  • That is lovely MrsDrink. Just as nice/nicer than any bought decoration.
  • love it mrsDrink do you have a link of how to make it please fancy giving it a go myself is it difficult to do?

  • Hi All
i'm a newbie, I hope you dont mind me joining it.
I need a bit of help, i've brought a couple of packs of crocus bulbs from poundland, with the idea of getting the kids to decorate a few pots and give them potted bulbs to various adults as christmas presents, mainly people who we dont usually buy for but always get our 2 somethign small.

How do i go about decorating them? i wanted them to pain on to a terracotta pot, but need to know what type of paint to use and also what kind of glue or varnish i would need to seal the design with, any help would be greatly appreciated :)
