Ooh Nuningebi love your baubles they look fab. Like quiksave I'd like to kno what "the next best thing is". I emailed Pledge well Johnson and got a lovely reply saying that that particular cleaner is not available in the uk:( Cheeky I kno but can I also asked where you got your heart shaped baubles from I really would like to "borrow" your idea, last question did you use the cheaper type of thick glitter? X
I'm really getting into this:) Thank you x

I'm afraid the baubles were bought probably 4 or 5 years ago post-christmas from sainsburys....originally 2 pound for 2, I got them for 42p!!!!

I got all my glitters fron The Works at 59p or 2 for 99p. I got all fine glitters apart from the yellow tinsel glitter (the sort of long strands). Think you could use the thicker stuff too but maybe not so good coverage?

Aaw thank you so very much Nuninge. Do you think it would work with normal round baubles? I mean the process will work but will they be as nice? I've already got some of that wax woo hoo ( good job I've not polished my floor with it. I knew there was a good reason for my laziness )

Those baubles are fantastic! Love even the way youve hung them for photos! They would make lovely gifts for teachers, also think they would be great sellers at craft fairs!

I'm sure I've seen a similar thing done using pva glue in side baubles - for those of you asking who may not be able to get the wax.

Can you tell me if the wax dries inside though and sticks the glitter permanately? Does it not start to slide about?! Or am I being really daft!?

The stuff I've got for my floor poppygirl dries clear like a thin layer of PVA so think it would keep the glitter in place unless you wet it:)

I have to say that I think round ones would look nicer as per the pinterest ones that originally inspired this. The problem with the heart shaped ones is that it is hard to pour all of the solution out once you've swirled it as it gets caught in the nooks hence the sometimes uneven glitter inside. But I was working with what i had and they've turned out ok. I have some round baubles but they have aflocked pattern on them....wonder if there is a way to remove the flock?

Think the wax sort of provides a thin coating on the inside of the glass. 3 days later and the glitter is still all in place. Magic!

Can so see these being made using the stickinhg glitter idea and then maybe just some felt stuck on for the belt instead of the puffy paint?
