    I've mainly been doing sewing recently; helping my best mate make a pair of dungarees for her sons christening and lots of bandana bibs. However today I made some oat soak sachets (more piccies on my blog);

    I'm making my friend a little sewing kit to go with the freegled sewing machine I managed to get and upcycle for her. So far I've made a storage tin, needle case and pin cushion any ideas for anything else she might need - great way of using up my scraps as well :)

    Been looking at everything people have made and it's all brilliant! Am going to have to get busy with making things. Have just made a ribbon (French) memo board for my mum for her birthday so very pleased with that!

    Hi everyone,
    How are the Christmas crafts coming along?
    We found a very cute coastal craft shop at the weekend on our way home from a weekend away and it had the most gorgeous handmade gifts from a number of different people / genres. Anyway they had some extremley lovely shabby chic driftwood pieces so we decided to take a walk along the beach and see what we discovered and there we found a driftwood full size Christmas Tree!!
    It's pines we're long gone and it was looking tired and worn but i loved it and could just picture it in my dining room covered in handmade creations stood proudly like an old fisherman with many a tale to tell ..hahah...as you can tell i get so carried away.
    Anyway the meanie (Hubby) said no :( In fairness don't know where we'd have put it to get it home and i guess it was kinda smelly so i'll have rethink of something equally as interesting before December :D
    Does anyone else have anything a bit different on display at Christmas?

    Along the Shabby Chic theme, i made this recently...more pics on my blog.
