    Hiya everyone,

    I've been thinking about xmas already as I normally get to November and then realise all the things I planned to make can no longer be done in time :o lol

    PoppyToms :- I too cut wooden shapes/lettering etc but currently have a very, very big scroll saw from which I cut each piece by hand I only started using the scroll saw last October first time :eek: and haven't had a day yet that I haven't used it!!! :)

    My family all know that they will receive a wooden piece for xmas lol my house is covered in all my handmade goodies I have a facebook page but not allowed to put it on here :(

    They are lovely KateGregory and super to say you've cut them by hand :) We have a scrollsaw too apparently lol, can't say i've ever used it though, the hubby does. I once attempted a go on the wood lathe and nearly jumped through the ceiling when it started, scared me to death! I'll just keep messing about with bits of paper as he calls it lol :D

    lol thank you I have a piece that took 16hrs :eek: to complete I have to say it was one of my first makes and I love it and it takes pride of place on my living room wall.. Wish I could show you all but I have no idea on how to make pictures smaller...lol


    I've been looking into laser machines and cnc routers but still love my scroll saws to much to get something different lol I say scroll saws cause we have 2 ones mine and ones my partners scroll sawing made in this house :rotfl:

    Not sure why but I had trouble findIng this thread on the board, it came up as let it snow- moved? I'm sure loads of posts are missing from the last few days.

    Anyways, I want to try making rag wreath this Xmas, has anyone tried making them? Not sure what framework to use, if that makes sense?

    Hi Crafters, Whilst playing on Pinterest, I came across a site that has some free sewing patterns, which may be of use to those of you that sew your christmas presents (or for other occasions)

    This was one I thought even I could do and I don't sew :):
