  • I'm new to crafting and this thread has given me some great ideas so thanks to everyone! I love the Jingle all the way frames and am desperate to make some but I'm completely stuck as how to make the lettering and the picture of the bell??? I don't have any of the machine things to cut them out and don't feel confident that I could do it with scissors or a craft knife! Does anyone have any ideas how I can do it or where I can buy them from?!

    Thanks in advance

Not sure about getting the bell cut but there are sites where you can buy custom vinyl lettering. I will look for a link for you

It seems no one but Seth's Gran is posting on here anymore but we are now in nearly in July and there are therefore only 6 months till Christmas so my thoughts are turning to Christmas crafts once again. Also I have just discoverd Pinterest and am totally addicted to it. So some of you may remember that I mentioned that I had lots of little glass heart shaped Christmas decorations that I bought very cheap one year in the sales and I was looking for something to do with them. Well I've just discovered these:

and am totally thinking that this is precisely what I will do with them!!!

Now the thought is this....I have too many of them, I am part of the make £2012 for 2012 group and I am on maternity leave and itching to do creative things........what I was thinking I could do was:

Get a table selling these decorations at a Christmas fair. I could have them all unfinished ready to be personalised so for example someone could decide they wanted a red glitter filled one with the name Bob on there and I could do it there and then....they could choose the glitter colour, choose what is written on it, choose what colourit is written on there with and probably if I'm organised enough even choose what colour ribbon the decoration will have.

So, my questions is, if I were to do this, how much do you think that I could charge for each decoration? The hearts are about 2 inches high I would say.

Your thoughts would be appreciated ladies.

Gosh they are lovely. Would £3 be selling yourself short. My daughter sells things at 3x cost of materials.

They are a great idea - maybe a bit easier if you already had the glitter part done, and just personalised on the day - would save a lot of mess, plus hopefully you would be busy and therefore may not have time to do the whole thing there.
