In morries today, SA just about to reduce the chicken breasts, asked him how much to 99p from £4 he said, man overhears and grabs every single one of them, I said 'let's play fair' and he mumbled 'well how much do you want then?' I saw 4 so said 2 each, went to get mine but he spotted 6 more so piled them on as well as what he already had and I saw 2 more so did the same, then the man turned to me and said ' one of these will feed my children, will make one meal, you are taking away from me feeding my children'
Is it just grab it without a care for anyone else these days? In the end it was somewhat fair but to be made to feel guilty that I was taking away from his children:eek:
I have two kids and would never say something like that

You should have told the man that he could buy full price ones to feed his kids too, sounds like a cheeky get to me.The truth may be out there, but the lies are inside your head. Terry Pratchett

I actually think you were both out of order, you should've taken one each and left some for someone else.
I've found lately that etiquette doesn't exist with regards whoopsied stuff.

You need to fight fire with fire victory. You should have told him to think himself lucky he only had his kids to worry about because you had both sets of ageing and ill grandparents living with you as well as your own 4 kids and the kids from next door whose Mum was a junkie and never fed them. Let him be antsy then. :rotfl:Herman - MP for all!0 -

Just curious but what did you say in return?
Nothing, just took the chicken breasts, told cashier about it and she said 'oh so he was grabbing and being greedy then?' We laughed about it and I told OH , I thought I was being fair or is it just fast hands, mine are in the freezer for many a meal and his are feeding his kids:rotfl:0
