Hee, Hee, whilst cruising Mr T's whoopsies tonight, I said to my mum, remember your whoopsie etiquette! LOL. You all made me smile!0

This thread makes me really glad I never go to supermarkets. Thank heavens for home delivery.0

The main etiquette is to turn them label side down in your trolley otherwise others think they are fair game
Apart from that it is each to his own, some you win some you loseYou never know how far-reaching something good, that you may do or say today, may affect the lives of others tomorrow0 -
I was in our local asda the other day and it was like a rugby scrum around the whoopsies, The funny thing was there was a rather large lady hogging it all she was piling in her trolley but people where taking from her trolley when she wasn't looking she ended up with hardly anything ...
I normaly just wait and see whats left and pick what i want and need..0 -
Ive regularly seen in my local Morrisons a couple in their 30's solely in there for the purpose of whoopsie nabbing. Wait for it... they have walkie talkies to alert each other! They are completely serious about the whole thing!
If Im lucky to get whoopsies (and I find my Asda late at night, around 11pm the best) I always turn them upside down in my trolley to disguise the yellow sticker as I've had items pinched from my trolley!Love, through the trees, past the sky, beyond the northern lights; and I won't let go. May your soul and spirt fly sweetheart x
My alphabet-girls are with me every step of the way x0 -

Also I never reduce stuff on demand from a customer.
Actually Ive often been lucky to get chilled meats reduced quite low in Asda and I do give it to the pets. There is still a bit of a stigma about buying reduced items, and lets face it at the moment a lot of us are cash strapped, so we kid ourselves and try to kid others that its for our elderly mum/neighbour/starving pet rather than ourselves. Lying is a bit harsh! The Government and the banks lie, we just try and get by.
Ive come across meanies like you with the power of the reducing gun, lol. meanie, meanie, meanie...
I always find a little bit of flirting weakens my local meanie.
Its the last day of the year guys.... happy 2012!Love, through the trees, past the sky, beyond the northern lights; and I won't let go. May your soul and spirt fly sweetheart x

:rotfl: Haha - when me and my mum go, I am the trolley guarder as ppl will often have a poke in your trolley! This woman was having a good nosy in our trolley on day and picked up some chicken and said to her husband 'This will be good for dinner tomorrow'. I said 'Yeah it will - just a shame I'm having it tonight'. :cool:Crazy Clothes Challenge 2016 - Jan £3.99/£2500 -

Mean? Ha!
It is company policy not to reduce stuff on demand. My job is worth more than you getting your 10p item.0 -
I have inadvertantly rooted through someones trolley as i assumed it was the reduced trolley as everything in it was stickered
The funniest thing I have ever seen was two grown men in suits having a tug of war over a salmon in waitrose - fortunately it was in a box :rotfl:0 -
People on walkie-talkies...taking food out of others' trolleys...good god.
I wouldn't lower myself to be so pathetic.Stone walls do not a prison make, nor iron bars a cage.0
