Done about an hour on DH project ... nearly finished **phew** will be worth it in the end! Kept going by Vicar of Dibley on in the background - that show is absolutely hilarious - I think it's my fave programme of all time. Bit of a toss up between that and Only Fools and Horses! They both make me laugh so much.

Off to bed now, night everyone and thanks again for being there x

    Day 10

Well, after the success' of yesterday, when I did crawl into bed, I picked up the Xmas project and did about half an hour on that too, so that was a bit of a success!

    Todays goals are:
    • Walk 5 points - have got the pedometer on today!
    • Track everything I eat and WW point it all - I'm going to do this all week - max 29 and no using the extra allowance!
    • 30 mins DH present
    • Do 20 mins paperwork filing
    • Prepare charity paperwork for despatch tomorrow (it's done - just needs packaged and posted)
    • Take money out of jar & go to exercise class tonight
Had to fill up the car again this morning - another £47!! Is it really a week since I was last at the petrol pump! I don't think I've budgeted enough :-( I've got 1.5 tanks left in the budget (after today) might need to make that 2 full tanks (which is £94 ... I've got £78 left in budget).

Only another 16 sleeps until pay day!!

Have moved the menu tracker on to OP as it makes it easier to keep up!

I think I've mucked up tonight as I got the chicken out of the freezer this morning - it'll be okay in the fridge until tomorrow though, won't it!

DH absolutely will not eat the cauliflower cheese .... He can have noodles with his pie :-D

Am so exhausted I don't think I can type and I've still to do 30 mins work on DH present - do you think I can do a hold-over on that one if I promise to try and do extra tomorrow???

Before I do tootle off to bed though, had a successful whoopsie shopping trip for the grand sum of £4.86 I got a lamb joint, 3 steaks a turkey joint, 2 large cartons of milk, heaps of brocolli and 10 yogurt snack pots, oh, and a loaf of bread! That's the mid-week shop sorted, and managed to get some meals for week 3 as well! Will update the food list on OP (and budget) :)
  • I am officially allowing you to Work on dh's project tomorrow and get lots of lovely zzzzzzzzz's instead tonight.

I did the same as you today I got chicken out of the freezer intending to be creative tonight , forgot about it , then mr Pinot cooked stir fry instead. Am sure it will be fine tomorrow. What are you going to make with it?

Mr Pinot bought lots of whoopsie goodies today, he is a far better shopper than me , and he actually quite enjoys it whereas I am the total opposite, head down and outta there as quick as poss!

Hope your 16 sleeps go quickly for you. Our pay day was 8th Jan but so far no sign of a penny !

    Day 11

Good Morning world! **Yawn and stretch**

Lol - I actually yawned and stretched as I wrote that!!!

It's meant to be chicken casserole tonight, but am going to do a chicken curry instead - DD is going to cook the meat during the day and pick it off the bones, I just have to do the veg and bung it in a sauce .... again .... a lazy option, but everyone likes it!

    Today's goals are:
    • Do at least 5 WW walking points
    • Track everything I eat - day 2/7
    • 30 mins DH project from yesterday AND
    • 30 mins DH project for today (?? will this finish it off???)
    • Post charity forms
    • Attend exercise class tonight
I keep thinking up other goals but know I won't have time for them today .... so will try and remember them for the week-end.

Hope everyone has a lovely day x

    Hi everyone,

Just catching up on diaries. Can absolutely not move off my chair - 20 WW walking points earnt (5 miles) plus two exercise classes in one day ... am so determined to lose weight before holidays!!!

Another whoopsie success after classes - spent £4.98 (£4.30 was birthday gift for DH - his fave coffee) 68p was a whole heap (about 10) of ready made sandwiches with all sorts of exotic fillings (sorted for lunch and dinner tomorrow with soup!!!) and about 15 yogurts at a penny each, bunch of banana, milk, meatballs etc. at least we're still managing a very varied diet. DD3 is ecstatic with her chicken ranch baguette and raspberry snack pot and baby banana .... although she has asked for a chocolate bar to go with it out of her selection box (yes .... we still have at least 5 more unopened selection boxes in this house!!!)

Will update budget in a mo to keep myself right.

Clubcard vouchers for days out arrived today - yippee, I like that it's back to 4 x value - got £70 worth of days out and £30 restaurant! Which reminds me, after reading Pinot's diary, I must check nectar points as I don't think I ever have, but hand over my card religiously every time I'm in Sainsbug - must have a wee stash there.

Well, I'm doing nothing else tonight ... not even TV, cup of tea .... nothing! Am going to crawl into bed and read until my eyes shut. See you tomorrow

    xx

    Day 12

Well, as the diary is called "No Excuses" I've now updated the budget planner again - wasn't a good enough reason to say the internet crashed.

Didn't sleep very well last night despite the physical tiredness from all that exercise, think I was worried about the wind (and not the brocolli eating kind!!) and the roof - there's enough damage there already!!

    Todays Goals are:
    • At least 5 WW walking points
    • Track everything I eat (day 3/7)
    • 30 mins DH project
    • Put oil in the car
    • Look at 0% fee CC transfer for when this one soon runs out
    • Have another look for Xmas stocking pattern ... and no excuses!
Da-dah, that's going to be my theme for the day, "no excuses". Have a good day everyone x
