    Enjoy the walk

I started the day yawning and will finish the day yawning!

Managed two exercise classes tonight - and came home and ate cream cake ... I mean ... what good was that! To be fair, I was starving, but I have a lovely fruit bowl full of yummy apples and oranges - I've even got a melon screeching to be eaten!!!

So, what did I end up spending:

    £47 petrol - ASDA - from bank
£1.50 - Whoopsies - bread; cakes (ehhh?); yogurts and veg (cash in purse)
£6.50 two exercise classes (cash in purse)

Am exhausted now ... early bedtime I think. Night everyone

    Good-morning everyone ...

    Day 5

    NSD's in January: 0/5
    Weigh-In This Morning: 11st 10lb :eek::eek::eek: (Goal 10st 10lb)

Errr  now there might be the reason none of my trousers fit me then - I've managed to put a whole stone on in 3 months :o! No excuses, today I'm going to walk around enough to earn at least 2 WW points and not eat any any any rubbish!!! This will have the double bonus of easing up my aching legs from last nights classes.

I'm having my very own light-bulb moment this morning - but one that's costing me money rather than saving :D. Front head-light on car has gone (AGAIN!) and unfortunately I need to get Halfords to fit the bloomin' thing as well as it's really really awkward to get too - I think that's about £16.

On the positive side however, I've got a £27 credit note from M&S lurking in my purse alongside a £25 gift card from the same - that will happily do for DH birthday dinner plus essential food top-ups (bread / milk / cat food etc. ... we can starve, but not fair on the ancient kitty!!!), which means I can take some money from the food budget to pay towards the bulb, and also DH birthday present.

I forgot - he asked for a DVD alongside the pair of slippers - so need to eek the funds out for that.

We've also got a week-end away - largely covered by Tesco vouchers, BK vouchers and Travelodge already paid for, however, will be some costs - will try to work this out as it's scaring me. Also however on the positive, I forgot DD2 isn't going back to Uni until the end of the month, so can save on some of her travel costs!

It's such a juggling game this month!!!

    Have a good day everyone.

    OMG!!!

Just updated my accounts and ancient kitty's pet insurance has gone up to £24.12 per month :mad::mad: that's nearly the same as me for £200k life insurance.

    Goals for Today Update:
    • Walk 2 WW points
    • Change Pet Insurance Suppliers
    • Get light-bulb on car fixed
  • Ouch

Just a wee reminder don't forget to go through top cash back or quidco for the new insurance. I earnt £300 in one year through shopping through them.

Hope you get the bulb sorted.

How you you walk 2WW points?

:T:T One goal ticked off anyway - pet insurance reduced from £24.12 to £11.35 per month and £35 quidco.

It's a WW pedometer thing - you put your weight in and start walking and it tells you when you've earnt pro-points (but I don't eat my points ... I think I've eaten enough already ;))!

Bulb will be later when I can get to the shops.
  • Well done on the savings.

Thanks for the information, I need to get off my bottom this year.

    • Walk 2 WW points :j:j:j I DID 11
    • Change Pet Insurance Suppliers - SAVED £13 P/MONTH AND GOT CASH BACK
    • Get light-bulb on car fixed - DONE - IT COST £16.98 - MONEY IN PURSE - BUT WORTH IT TO BE ABLE TO DRIVE LEGALLY

    Hooray, that was a result!!!!

Plus my friend let me buy her CC vouchers off of her for face-value (well, she owed me money and I let her pay me in CC vouchers) so £80 worth of days out tokens coming my way which will pay for Easter Hols days out - whoop whoop!!!!:):):)

    I like days like this!

Hope everyone elses' has been as productive. See you tomorrow.
  • I haven't got the pedometer but I do still have access to the online facility even though I am not a monthly pass holder anymore (ssshhh, don't tell them :p) and when I put in there that I had done 50 minutes of gentle walking, it said I had earned 4 pro points :T

My local village co-op has ww frozen meals on half price at the moment so they are £1.00. I have bought 8 so I can have one at lunch times instead of a sandwich :o
    Just keep swimming!
