Morning Cee
Am very impressed with the store cupboard inventory. I'm trying to eat out of them too, ridiculous how much I keep. I am hoping it will drastically reduce my budget jan and feb and give me a head start as I need to get my roof fixed.
Good luck with sorting out the baking cupboard and the photos.

Love the idea of photo albums for Christmas! For my demon childs first birthday (she's 4 now) I ordered a photo book of her first year and it is so lovely to look back on now. I may do a yearbook for dh for next Christmas. Thanks for the idea!!Proud to be dealing with my debts, light bulb moment: 2/1/2010, reviewed 7/1/20120

Hi Everyone
Day 8
A bit late, but better late than never!!
Well, I had goals today, but never quite got round to typing them up!
I've walked 10 WW points today
Cleaned out the baking cupboard
Spent 30 mins on DH's birthday gift
.... and entertained visitors! Managed to make my measley Turkey joint go round another couple of people, but only because I bulked it out with yorkies and stuffing etc. Apple pie and custard was yummy. Have just stuffed my face on marshmallows and turkish delight (as it was the least fatty thing I could think of!!!)
Hope everyone had a good day!0 -
Oooohhh marshmallows......
Just keep swimming!0 -
Oooh, I've now caught up and I've started next years photobooks - I've done the basic layout, haven't quite sorted out the Xmas and New Year pics yet, but will do!
The trick is to have them ready to order by roughly the 6th of December, because Tesco always offer 25% off that expires on or around this date to make sure there's plenty of time for them to arrive before Xmas.
The kids love them - it's always the highlight of Xmas morning!
I also meant to 'fess to say that I / we spent £1.92 on fresh bakery rolls this morning. Because we had visitors I made bacon and egg rolls for everyone (yummy!!) Have updated the menu sheet to take this into account. So, no NSD today (again!!)
LOL ... I found the half eaten bag of marshmallows when clearing out the baking cupboard. Some went in the kids' hot chocolate, some more went in my tummy (mmmm) - a treat for having forced myself to do that much loathed task! I found all sorts of things in there - I think I've enough baking gear to last me until next Christmas!!!!0 -
DAY 9

The yearbooks sound a lovely idea. My girls would love those, I definately think I will be doing those for them ready for next chrsitmas.
Well done on sorting your baking cupboard, I opened mine and peeked inside, but everything fell out on top of me so I quickly closed the door again. Maybe I will enlist DD2 to help me after school this evening. She is the baking queen in our house, so she might fancy baking a little batch of fairy cakes at the same time !
Hope you have a good day

DAY 9
Goals for today- Forgot Ped, but walk what I imagine to be 5 points (!!!) :j:j Probably about 10
- 30 mins DH present ... about to start!
- Sort Xmas pics
:):) DONE (better late than never!!) - Find Xmas stocking pattern - to make new one for next year - have looked at heaps but can't find one I love ... I want something quite plain but with some nice sparkle (not too bling ...!) and personalised! Might just make up my own pattern! I'm going to tick this off though, because I don't think I'm going to find exactly what I want!
- Post mothers letter - I keep forgetting!!! :j DONE
- A hopeful NSD! YAY number 2/5
Evening everyone,
How's everyone tonight? Have had a good day so far, just about to start on DH's gift! Have finally sorted the kids' pics.
Jumped on the scales this morning and have lost 2lb
:D:D that just makes me 12lb over weight but a wee bit off is a step in the right direction .
Menu tonight went well ... keeping on track so far.
Will pop back later after doing some DH project!0 -
Hooray, just done catalogue return for £124.17 (haven't adjusted front page figure yet) - think I gave myself a fright when the monthly payment was £112!!!! I so need to get rid of some of this debt - oh well, have paid that and the return that's £236 off of a £703 debt so that's a bit of a result!0
