  • Hi, Well done for being so decisive about the job. i am hopeless at saying no (guess that's why I'm in so much debt :) ) But if doing the new role is going to make you feel devalued and therefore unhappy, it is important that your views are not only known but acted on. I guess if they force you to do it anyway, it's best that your views are recorded. Hope it all works out well x

A poor man is rich if they have the right outlook.

    Today's goals:
    • 5 WW walking points :)
    • Track everything I eat 4/7 :)
    • Be very brave and say no to the job thingamy - causing far too much worry already :):(:)
    • Telephone the insurance company about roof damage :):(:)
    • NSD 3/5 ...? :j
    Roll over from yesterday :o:
    • 0% card for one due to expire soon:):o:)
    • Xmas stocking pattern  .... still time though :D

Managed 26 points walking - 5.80 miles today, also was so good and tracked everything, including weighing the rice (I didn't have the chips, with the fishfingers if you're following the menu planner) .... and I had a good NSD (which will make up for tomorrow, which won't be one - shopping!)

13 days till payday (still counting!!!)

Okay - so I took a brave pill and said ... no (so that ticked that goal)! And was told ... tough ! So might as well smile and get on with it amazingly well, and count myself lucky to be employed :D. It sounds mad after yesterdays rant, but I actually do love my job and know I'm lucky in this climate to still have something reliable. One day I'll proove my worth ;)

Oh, the insurance thing was a joke .... two weeks to send out an assessor - 10 telephone calls (thank goodness I had some flexi-time banked is all I can say for the phone calls, although mobile will probably take a hit with dreaded 0800 calls!!!) and am on a waiting list with a roof fixer as well, hopefully to co-incide with the insurance assessor. Not to mention the £150 excess, however, the roof needs fixed, so will just need to get on with it!!!

So it was fairly successful with the 0% as that's going to save me heaps (DESTROY THE OLD CARD CEEBEEBY TO KEEP FROM TEMPTATION!!!!:A) in the long run.

Two tasks before bed-time, update the meal planner (delete this week as now done) and am going to try and search for some Xmas stocking patterns now and stop procrastinating about it.

THANK YOU for being my virtual friends - you've kept me smiling today :grouphug:

Mid-day check up and I've already walked the 5 points and cleaned my gran's house. Taking a quick break from the dusting to check what was happening on here.

Have also done the shopping and need to update page 1. Had to fill up on fuel AGAIN ... no way am going to make it to the end of the month without blowing the fuel budget by about £70 grrrrr!!!! Anyway, cars full .... see how long it lasts this time!
  • Another busy one for you!

Fuel is just sooooooo expensive. Can you imagine the Americans putting up with this?

I have just spent 20 mins of my life calculating the Weightwatchers pro-points value of a miniature Green and Blacks cherry bar versus a Green and Blacks Dark 70% bar .... and having concluded that the cherry has one less point than the dark .... I'm now going to eat it!!!:EasterBun:)

  • Hi Ceebeeby,

Hope you are having a nice weekend.

Sorry things are a little pants at work. I don't have those kinds of problems as there is only me and my boss, but I remember that feeling of getting lumbered with jobs that I didn't particularly want to do. I remember one and they thought I should be really pleased as they saw it as giving me more responsibility - I just saw it as one of the most boring repetitious jobs.

Well done on all of the walking and extra ww points :T
    Just keep swimming!
  • You are so organise - your lists blow me away. I think I would be exhausted just writing the list never mind carrying through with all the tasks!
