I'm still away for the holidays, so I'll have to see how things go when I can get back to the routine but today went better than yesterday. Went on a nice long walk this afternoon,:j it's not a trip to the gym (which is nicely compliments of my work) but it's good to get out and get some exercise.0

Started keeping a food diary today & will keep it for the month. I've done it before and recommend both as a way of keeping you on track with healthy eating and to see where you might be going wrong and not realising it.1% at a time no. 40. £8000 (For dream family holiday) 94/100

Hello Dragon and a Happy New Year and a huge thanks for keeping the thread going.
I was the same at the end of the month (167) so I can live with that but like everyone else I am full of good intentions to lose weight now - will just have to msee how it goes - I do have a new plan with my dietician so maybe that will help.
So I am still here and still trying!!! (SW 167)Peace will be mine

Does anyone on here do Zumba either at home on the wii or in classes?
Just wondering what you think of it? I've ordered some DVD's to attempt to get the hang of some steps but I would like to go to classes. Thing is my age and my level of fitness (low) don't want to look a compete idiot. (Don't mind looking a bit of one)
Lost enough weight now to make exercising a possibility but nothing too intensive. Aerobics are probably a bit too much but Zumba looks like fun what do you think?
love to all Ma0 -
Well done to those of you who have started already - and good luck to everyone who is starting this week

OK, so I am all ready for tomorrow and starting my healthy eating properly, think I have managed to eat up all the xmas chocs, biscuits etc. - although there is a tempty piece of cheese still in the fridge, but will be throwing that out tomorrow I think.:A
My starting weight is 10st 7lb, am aiming to get down to about 9st 10 - although would be happy with around 10st really.
Look forward to keeping everyones moral up

I'm going dress shopping with my mum at the beginning of April so now I'm starting to panic
Dragged the Wii Fit back out today for the first time in months and did 30 minutes but I need to do more that that hopefully being on here will motivate me

I've got the Zumba for Wii (the first one) and well...by the end of the beginner 20 minute class I am exhausted! It really is a great work out (if you make yourself do it properly, you can of course cheat the game and just wiggle the controller in your hands and it thinks your doing all the moves perfectly!) It does get a little repetetive also but I'm sure classes are a lot better because they are set to different songs all the time. There are a few instructors on youtube who post their routines so you could try and copy them, the same way you do with the game if you wanted to.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -
