Well I've chosen a right wk to start my exercise and healthy eating campaign havent i!! Tis my *wk and I'm craving lots of naughy things. So far I've been good (i always allow my self 1 choccy treat a day during *wk it keeps me sane lol) so hoping to still see a little loss on sunday when i weigh in. Got myself an extra incentive now too, I've got a date on fri ;)

It's my week as well so hard to avoid chocolate then isn't it :( I brought myself some low fat chocolate mousses as they help me get through it :)

I discovered there are only 35 calories in an after eight mint so I allow myself 2 in the evening.

Walked 40mins and mucked out 20mins on Sunday
Walked along the dunes to see the seals Monday for 90minutes
Yesterday walked to stables (20min) mucked out, skipped fields, lunged etc and an hour for lunch, home at 5pm.

God knows how many calories that burns so have been sticking to my allowance on the fitness pal thing for a sedentary life style.

Well done pinkfluffybabe! I fell off the wagon already :( My mum called last night to tell me that one of our dogs has died. He was a 15 year old boxer and had been poorly so it was kind of expected but still horrible. So that was that, big portion of rice pudding and some chocolate biscuits! Plus I didn't feel like doing any exercise. Bad start!

    Sorry to hear that :(

  • Finally stepped on the scales:eek: not official yet because I normally weigh in in the morning but I'm at 83kg.
  • Hi all
Didn't log in yesterday - it seems we have all been busy trying... and as for falling off the wagon, I wouldn't worry... how depressing would it be if we didn't have a couple of naughty treats!

Teachergirl... I too had good intentions for doing exercise after work, being a secondary school teacher I have found myself stuck in meetings and bringing home more work than I could even anticipate at Christmas. My tip? Moved my chair in to the cupboard when teaching so I have to get up more!

I have been using the My Fitness Pal calorie app... I need to fiddle with the settings because I keep going over my calorie allowance, but I actually find it a bit low... aren't women allowed 2,000 a day? My app is trying to give me 1,200!!
So... no exercise so far. But I have been walking around in my job a bit more and sticking to healthy lunches (salads and fruits) and home cooked meals... trying to grill rather than fry!!

Dragon - I will weigh in same time each week, will figure out how to make it BOLD as you say.

    Good luck for tomorrow everyone!

I will update signature when I have got a bit more sorted.

  • OK, I'm back in my house with my scales for a morning weigh in so my official start weight for 2012 is 82.7 kg  which is 182 lbs or just a shade over 13 stone. Yikes, I've put back most of the weight I lost in 2010.

Just need to find some practical regular exercise I can do. It's so cold and horrible outside I don't think I'll be able to get back to running this month, which leaves the gym (which is great when I can get a lift but otherwise impractical) or things I can do in the tiny space I have at home. I'm in a shared house so really only have my room to exercise in. Anyone any ideas what I can do that won't knock down the stacks of books covering every wall of my room?
