Morning all, reporting another 2lbs off for me. Brings me down to 167 (11st 13lbs)
Smashed through my weightloss target. Looking at 120lbs+ loss. BMI over 40 down to 20.5. Training hard to get body fat under 20%, not far to go now :j

After my weight bounced upwards last week, now on the way back down: 66.9 kg which is a whisker above 10 1/2 stones.

So, - 0.4 kg from last Sunday morning.

What makes a difference? Maybe a bit more exercise. Drinking more. No alcohol since last Sunday night, although I didn't have a lot over last weekend, not compared with what some people drink.

I'm not paying anyone for more 'diet plans' or advice. I think I've learned enough now to put it into practice. I'm just going to concentrate on 'healthy eating' and trying to get in some exercise. And drink fluids.

We've just had breakfast: 1 large free-range egg, boiled. One slice of wholemeal seeded bread. A scrape of marmalade. Coffee, of course. That's it. We're going to church, will probably stay for a cup of tea afterwards, but no biscuits.

  • Official weigh in this morning and I am down 0.5kg or 1.1lbs. Considering how up and down I've been this week I'm pleased with that, after all there were cakes and Chinese takeaway.

    Total weight loss - 2.5 kg/5.5 lbs
  • Well what a rubbish week this is, got broken up with by someone who wasn't even good enough for me and now it's TOTM - GRRRR! Thank you sooo much though Dragon, teachergirl and lulubella27 for saying sweet things ;), he IS a wally but to be fair to him I did know that and didn't get myself too 'involved' - wouldn't even let him 'officially' be my boyfriend, so at least there is no heart break, but he WAS a good friend and he did lie and that's what annoyed me most.......anyway enough about smelly boys and onto weight issues and despite my yucky week I have managed to drop 2lbs - woohoo! Am thinking of starting Jillian Michaels 30 day Shred....at some point, have any of you lovely lot done it? Does it work? I saw the dvd in Tescos for £5 so thought I might give it a go, it has some great reviews on Amazon.....

  • I'm sort of in the middle of the 30 day shred. I do it every other day rather than every day so for me 60 days! I'd like to do it every day but I'd rather go for a long walk instead.

I thought I was sort of fit but the first level one part left me in a heap by the end.... ... I recovered enough to do it again and now I'm on week two so done about 8 sessions and it is getting easier each time. I looked through level 2 and decided to stay at level one for now.

My thought was I can fit 20 minutes into my day rather than hours in the gym etc etc. Can't say I can see loads of inches dropping off me but maybe that's because I'm doing it every other day, and I've only recently started eating better but I am feeling a lot fitter than I was before.

Thanks crumblepie I have ordered it from Amazon now since not sure when I will get to the big Tescos and think I am off to Bristol for a few days tomorrow so hopefully it'll be here when I get back so I can get started! I was wondering about doing 30 consecutive days and someone said to me that you are not supposed to do that anyway, just a minimum of 30 sessions with at least 1 full rest day a week. They also said you don't need to move up to the next level after 10 days, just when you feel ready or get bored with the first! Have heard that it is hardcore but am hoping that I can do it every other day too.....am VERY unfit though! Glad it is getting easier for you, I am a little frightened after seeing clips online that I might not be able to handle it being so lazy....but hey ho, gotta try, eh? :p

  • Our treadmill arrived yesterday. Why oh why did I not measure up first?:o it did not fit in the space I wanted it in. We spent two hours trying to get it upstairs before realising it was never going to happen .it weighed a ton. We then gave up and set it up in the garage which took another two hours. I didn't actually need to use it then as I was exhausted. Still I have had a good go on it today. I set it up to use 500 calories however it had a mind of it's own and decided I could do it in half an hour,I nearly died and I had only been going for two minutes...note to self must read the instruction manual:D I will be fit lithe and beautiful:D

Bluebellbunny you could have had my copy of the shred. It's evil:eek:
