We are just back home after our weekend away. No more over-indulgence!
Today I had 2 slices of bacon and some scrambled egg, wholemeal toast and marmalade. We left the B&B and headed for Cirencester, where we found a lovely little cafe called The Green and Pleasant Tea-rooms, where we had toasted teacake and coffee. I had jam but no butter. We went to midday Eucharist in the parish church - I thought this was an Abbey, it's huge. Then didn't stop again until we got to The Gate pub at Chorleywood. I had fish pie and half a pint of Oxford Gold bitter. That's it, the end of indulgence, back to normal now we're home. We haven't had such a lot all day, though, and we don't want anything else.Ær ic wisdom funde, ær wearð ic eald.

Weight is coming back down - now down to 67.1 kg, I'm glad it's on the way back down because I really do NOT understand why it went up last weekend. The only difference that I can see is that I drank some alcohol - 2 separate half-pints of local bitter and 1 1/2 glasses of medium white wine over the 3 days. My body is not used to alcohol, but even that was hardly excessive.Ær ic wisdom funde, ær wearð ic eald.
