Haven't done a weigh in this week as I figured it was a lost cause! I finished one job and started another this week so firstly there was a leaving do curry, then there was last day cake and then there was leaving present chocolates! :rotfl:
However my new job should be much busier so less snacking - fingers crossed for next weeks weigh in!

Weighed in this morning at 142.5lb which I think is about a 1lb loss . I am a little bit dissappointed because i had really tried hard on the walking front this week. I think I could be a bit hormonal so I don't think that has helped. Still it is definitely the right direction.:) I so want to get below 10 stone because I think I really have a mental block about 10 stone.
I am really enjoying reading every bodies trials and tribulations, recipes etc on here it makes you realise you are not alone in your battle to get rid of the bulge. I have been watching biggest loser, although I would hate to be on the television I wish I could just go away for a few weeks and concentrate on nothing but losing weight. I could become a new woman:D
Keep going everyoneEnough money to live on so retired early...planning to see where life takes me:D0 -
So we have all had a few blips.... but we are not alone! Clearly it all starts off well then peters off a bit, let's keep each other motivated.
I indulged in some biscuits at a staff meeting last week, then someone bought me a box of choccies for giving them a lift which was out of my way so I have been tucking in to those... but trying to remember that in moderation, it's not too bad. I've had a couple a night... at this rate the box will last a month!
Been to gym again tonight and determined to go for a Saturday morning run again tomorrow. Have converted to porridge for breakfast which I think has helped me stay a bit fuller, I defo reccomend it, especially as it's turned cold again all of a sudden.
No WI until Sun evening for me... but I have hopped on and off the scales and think like everyone else it will be a much smaller difference this week... first week always knocks a lot of and then as it gets smaller you lose motivation. I'm hoping all of us being in the same boat will keep us going!
Keep up the good work.. we will get there.

Stayed the same this week
My problem I've found is that I just get really hungry after a day at work and 1200 calories is not enough to sustain me (I've been following the myfitnesspal way of thinking).
So I've decided to go back to Slimming World (which I attempted last year, and it did work...not sure why I stopped!) Still have all the books, so no need to join a group or anything!

I'm still on 1lb as I have been very naughty over the last few days. :S On the plus side I haven't been spending much on food and I have well and truly quit smoking.

Thanks The Dragon!
I have made myself a little chart and 3lb more in 3 more weigh-ins seems achievable....:D (this month anyway!) 0 -
