Well done everyone - everyone has lost something and some of you have lost big!

I'm delighted, I lost 5lbs this week bringing me down to 133lbs... thrilled to bits. And it's all thanks to your motivation keeping me going. Makes it all worth is when this afternoon I moaned at my boring salad for lunch... clearly it helps.

Anyone got any good recipes for low fat salad dressings that will last well travelling to and from work?

Good luck for the rest of you weighing in this evening!

Off to update my signature :rotfl:

Am slightly gutted today...I've been having hip pain for a while and physio referred me to a specialist who I saw today. Had an X-ray and next week have got to have MRI and CT scans and he's advised me to avoid anything high impact and/or twisty...especially Zumba  I love my Zumba, I've not been since the summer and was banking on restarting this week.
So question to any of you exercisey sort...he said I can do exercise bike and cross trainer, or basically anything where I'm not jumping around and I should keep my hips staright, no twisty stuff. I get bored easy in gyms so need ideas for things I can do . Any suggestions welcome?
  • Hello everyone, not a great start for me I'm afraid, being frugal I was still eating up things in the house as I couldn't bring myself to throw things away! I am only 1lb down, but hopefully I'll do better this week!

    so: no.16 -1lb new total: 206lbs

  • ellay864 it's gutting when you can't do the exercise you want. There are a few of us on here for various medical reasons can't do the more vigourous stuff. I was running 10K and loving it in a perverse way when my Gp banned running. Now I am currently reduced to walking as my main exercise. It can be really boring, so I try and either go somewhere nice like out on the sea wall, or I give it a purpose, like going to pay the paper bill, the shop is two miles away and normally I would drive but on Saturday I walked, then my next attempt to motivate myself is to download either podcasts I really want to listen to from the radio or music from my youth and I walk around listening to this. ( I hope none of my pupils don't ever spot me..I'm sure I broke into a bit of a dance with Billy Joel:o)
Hopefully in your case it's just a temporary set back.
Enough money to live on so retired early...planning to see where life takes me:D
