Woohoo first week in and it's gone in the right direction :) Based on what I gave as my sw I've lost 3 lbs but I've got some different scales now so I can go to half pounds and be more honest! I'm now 154lb which is -3, but I think my sw would have been better as 156.5 so -2.5 on that basis. Sorry for confusing things!
I've also now got my Wii fit going and set a Mii just for doing my weekly weigh in - I did that and then my usual Mii immediately afterwards, and managed to lose a pound just by changing Mii's :rotfl: Think I'll stick to the scales after all!
  • hi all,

good to hear all the positive results.
ive lost 2 lbs since sign up here so another 6 to go. May not make it as its my last 6 so will be the hardest. Im an exercise freak but eat way too much so still find it hard to lose. bit of advice i got from one of the trainers in gym is that you must feed your body after training as this is the time it needs it most. ive started doing this and find that im not so ravenously hungry in the evenings.

ive also avoided buying all the 75% off chocolates in the supermarkets. you cant eat it if its not there!

    Hi everyone,

Well done everyone on the losses!

Did my WI this morning and am now 184.5 which is a 2.5lb loss :-) Really pleased because I had a bad week really so hopefully will manage the 7 if I get my act together!

Am starting a course this week and a new job so am hoping I will be too busy to do my usual snacking!

Hi, no 6 reporting was 242...now 232......only so much lost tbh as going through a health scare at the mo and appetite is very poor.

  • Ok ladies, I'm all set and raring to go - woop woop! Have managed to get to the shops for the first time this year (live in the middle of nowhere and have no transport) so instead of trying and usually failing to eat healthily from mini supermarket at local petrol station I am all set for a week of ACTUAL healthy eating - YAY! I even managed to get some new scales to weigh in on :) so will do my first WI in the morning then the only way will be down from there! I am super excited and am sure this is gonna be the last time I have to start this again :j I am hoping I don't have that much to lose, fingers crossed it's just over a stone but we shall find out tomorrow and once I'm at first goal (9st 7lb) I will see how I feel and whether I need to lose more or not, if not then it's all about maintenance but shall worry about that when the time comes (hopefully before June). Sorry to blabber on but am super psyched to do this....the start is always the hardest so if I can stay motivated and get through the first few weeks then I know I CAN and WILL do this!!!
