Just wanted to say that I'm still here but not weighing in until the end of the month! I know it's early days but I feel pretty positive as for the first time in my life I am attempting (and succeeding quite well) to change my eating habits permanently. I'm not looking at this as 'be good for a few months & then I can eat what I want again', but as permanent changes. I kind of expect to lose weight more slowly than I mgith do on WW or SW etc but I'm feeling positive that these changes will be permanent. I'm exercising every day (just 15 mins some days but I'm still doing it), keeping a food diary, I have cut right back on 'treats', am eating three healthy meals a day, trying my hardest to eat healthy snacks like crispbreads or dried fruit & generally exercising a bit of restraint. Well done to everyone who has lost already!1% at a time no. 40. £8000 (For dream family holiday) 94/100

Lulubella27 I like your thinking;)
I have had a good day too. The weather here was fantastic. Really cold but very sunny. So me and my iPod went for a walk along the sea wall. It was very quiet and beautiful. I sang as I walked and the sheep were a most appreciative audience. I swear they joined in the chorus:D literally hundreds of wading birds along the sea inlet,I must remember my binoculars next time. I have booked a friend to walk with tomorrow so I will be off to a good start this weekend...9lb something here I come.
Liz-Paul I like your thinking too. I want this to be a permanent life style change. It's taken me years to get like this,so I don't mind too much if it takes awhile to go but it has to go for good!Enough money to live on so retired early...planning to see where life takes me:D0 -
Morning all. Barely here but still logging the weekly weigh ins. Down another 2lbs this week taking me to 12st 1lb. My first goal is 11 stone so not far to go now. The downside...it's taking longer
Smashed through my weightloss target. Looking at 120lbs+ loss. BMI over 40 down to 20.5. Training hard to get body fat under 20%, not far to go now :j0 -
New weekly weigh in and although I'm a touch up from yesterday (perils of weighing in everyday) I'm down another 0.9kg (2 lbs) this week
. I'll take that gladly.
That means so far I've lost a total of 4.4 lbs:j. (And my BMI, which I know isn't a very accurate guideline, is out of the obese range and into just overweight).0 -
#16 weighing in at 202.5lbs!
So that's a total of 4.5lbs for me so far in january:j

Just weighed in and sts this week. Am not too unhappy though as I was severely hacked off at being told I can't do my zumba or belly dancing for the time being and comfort ate too much, so really quite surprised I haven't put anything on. Am trying to make myself get to the gym but I get bored too easily so it's a big effort.0

That's the same as I weighed at end of July when I started the Dukan Diet. It can't be, though. Rich food from dinner out last night is probably still in transit.
I am guessing you are not taking this as your official weigh in as that would be 14 pounds on :eek:Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

It can't possibly be - no way can I have put 14 pounds on in a week. I registered 66.3 kg on Friday morning before we left - cannot possibly have gone to 67.3 kg in 2 days!!!Ær ic wisdom funde, ær wearð ic eald.
