Hi all i have my court date 31st Jan 9.00am
im really not feeling ready, I have only roughly filled out my SOA forms and im praying my cousin comes up with the money for me to go bankrupt as he promised, ive only just read that my JSA letter has to be dated within one month for the ex160 form, mine is dated before xmas-will an appointment letter from the job centre suffice?
or have I got to speak to job centre and get them to send me one out sharpish?

should I apply/open my cashminder account tomorrow so its all ready to roll or wait until im officially BR i'dlike to keep my nationwide acount really as its a new account and im having my housing benefits cheques sent out every 2 weeks so need an account to pay them into

any help much appreciated

I opened my Cashminder account 10 weeks before going BR, your Nationwide account will be closed so I would get your Cashminder account ASAP.

Hi im Drew
was declared bankrupt on 10th Jan 2012 thanks for a great thread only wish I had found this before.
There has been some great advice. It wasn't half as bad as I was expecting, think the hardest was waiting from mid Dec till the 10th Jan, had my call from the OR and did interview over the phone two days later, paperwork in the post and returned last week all that is to come now is 10th Jan 2013

Hi everyone, welcome to the January 2012
Bankruptcy Club.

This club is for everyone who has gone or going through the process of Bankruptcy during January 2012. So please feel free to join and post.

Pop your name on here, the date that you went Bankrupt and the stage that you are at now in your Bankruptcy. And then just keep everyone in the club updated throughout the next year about your journey through Bankruptcy. That way we can all stick together and compare notes and we will be there to support each other throughout the different stages in our Bankruptcy.

Remember this is your board so keep posting.

Obviously anyone can come on here and post anything that will help us all and you are all welcome. Any important questions that do need answering are maybe still better posted on the main board but if you do put it on here, then maybe we can help each other.

Hopefully it will be an extra place for friendship and support as we compare notes and discuss what is happening with our Bankruptcies.
