Hi everyone, welcome to the January 2012
Bankruptcy Club.

This club is for everyone who has gone or going through the process of Bankruptcy during January 2012. So please feel free to join and post.

Pop your name on here, the date that you went Bankrupt and the stage that you are at now in your Bankruptcy. And then just keep everyone in the club updated throughout the next year about your journey through Bankruptcy. That way we can all stick together and compare notes and we will be there to support each other throughout the different stages in our Bankruptcy.

Remember this is your board so keep posting.

Obviously anyone can come on here and post anything that will help us all and you are all welcome. Any important questions that do need answering are maybe still better posted on the main board but if you do put it on here, then maybe we can help each other.

Hopefully it will be an extra place for friendship and support as we compare notes and discuss what is happening with our Bankruptcies.

Please leave a post when you have been declared BR, and I will update the list.

*PLEASE DO NOT INCLUDE TOO MUCH INFO, THE IS ARE KNOWN TO FREQUENT THIS SITE AND TOO MUCH INFO MAY MAKE IT POSSIBLE TO IDENTIFY INDIVIDUAL CASES, SO KEEP INFO TO A MINIMUM, ie USERNAME AND DATE ONLY."

Thanks IF, not a problem doing them, although the numbers have been dwindling of late, let us hope that continues to be the trend but in all honesty I cannot see that happening.

I have p/w ready have to call the court now to make an appointment. I feel somewhat anxious about it. Thank you for all those who have posted thier experiences, it has helped tremendously. Love n hugs from Roses.

I have just got the p/w out to call the court, I feel sick lol. Is it normal to feel like this? I have finals to do, qualify soon and having trouble concentrating! I hope to write my experiences soon, once I get over feeling like I do. :)

  • We will be petitioning for bankruptcy Jan 2012! :o
Have filled out my debtors petition, and have made a start on my SoA.

Its very complicated isn't it? I have a few questions regarding the soa but will post these in another thread.

Have also opened a cash minder account with co-op, just waiting for the welcome pack to come through so i can transfer over our direct debits.

I will wait till i have the SoA mostly sorted before phoning the court (gulp)

    Hi, Not yet.
Not entirely sure of the process, but following the guide on here, it suggests getting all the paperwork filled out, then contacting the court.

    Is that not right? :(

It was only a week or so before christmas that the CCCS advised us to go BR

Hi there is no wrong or right way:) the only reason I asked is because it will depend on what system your court uses. Some use an appointment system whilst others have a drop in system. When I went BR my local court had an appointment system, and I had to wait 10 weeks before I could go BR.
