£49.99 on a new pair of boots to replace the ones with holes in! "Factory seconds" so should have been £145, and no difference in quality that I can tell! Love them so much...“Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goals.”

Hi everybody,
I wear a hoodie from time to time, although not worn it this winter and this would be the time of year that I would wear it.
But can I ask, do any of you wear it with the hood up? Just curious.
I don't, but neither do I wear hats in winter, I have curly hair and I don't like it when it has been flattened.
Hmm the ol' hoodie debate raises it's head I notice:think:
Yes I do wear them, they are warm and if also they have those pouch/kangaroo pockets even better.
I do wear the hood up with one of mine that I admit to wearing regularly - its quiet a bright colour with my DD2 Football club emblem on front and on the back I have to admit it has in separate glitzy logo of the fund-raising committee I am in(so if parents/kids need help etc they know who we are or to come to) - and if any parent out there has ever had to stand on the sideline of any training or match of any sport it can be freezing so yes the hood goes up!
I suppose it's like a uniform but am proud to wear it and its also super toastie warm.:)
Oh and I am in mid forties too and don't really care what other people think - I suppose it's all down to what type of hoodie it is in the sense the make, colour, logo, style and how you wear them -its those things that put the wearer into the "box" others perceive them to be.
I also admit to own and wear on an every day basis, several of those woolly Peruvian type hats - love 'em or hate 'em and yes round where l live they are known as ,and I apologies for this , T*&t hats, but again - I wear them as they keep my head and ears warm - they all totally clash with my coats but at least the car`drivers will see me and not run me over when am out dog walking :rotfl:Crazy Clothes Challenge 2012 £57.20/£100,CCC 2013 £68.67/£100 ,CCC 2014 £94.32/£100

Question - can I wear black tights and black shoes with a navy suit??[/QUOTE]
Yes, definitely. I wear coloured tights with my blue skirt all the time. I dont mean pink , but greys, blacks, blues, and a lot of different printed ones. I get then usually from Tk maxx , they are much cheaper and it livens up a lot of my clothes. I do the same with belts.
I am having a freedom day today as I found a white shirt in my wardrobe that fits.:T I dont know why was it soo deep in there
Also found 2 more of the same cut, one dark blue and one pale blue next to it. Might dig in deeper to see what else i can find...CC consolidated to £3400

Well my HnM order eventually arrived and I've decided to keep two jumpers and one top totalling £28.97.
Tried a freedom day yesterday for a red and white striped top I haven't worn in ages, but it was far too big round the chest and everytime I bent over the world got a peek at far too much. Good job I stayed in yesterday and only DH got to peek. Think it's going on a "to sell or cs" pile.0 -

I have a job interview this week, so went into Next with the intention of getting a suit - but they were all either too expensive or didn't fit right. I also wanted a new shirt, but there wasn't a single one that had a collar and wasn't see-through! So last night I went through my wardrobe and tried on a suit that I didn't think fitted...but it did! :T I didn't really want to wear a skirt, but it's free so I will!
Question - can I wear black tights and black shoes with a navy suit??
I often wear patterned/lacy tights with my navy suit no problems, thats one less thing to worry about on your interview.
Good luck with the interview, hope you are successful, let us know how you go on...... fingers x'd!!:jSPC Nbr.... 1484....£800 Saved £946 in 2013)

started to choose clothes to pack for my holiday which seems very odd given that there is snow outside:rotfl:I hate hate hate packing,we share a case and once there it is good to only have a limited number oif clothes as I (hopefully) spend most of the day by the pool and only need something more at night(off to Tenerife btw so usually warm at night too)I try and stick to a few colours so I can mix and match and am thinking of turquoise, coral and white this year with a neutral grey cardi jacket I bought from Phase 8 sale for cooler evenings and travelling in.I have to wear trousers to fly in not just cos cold in the UK but I have to wear the most hideous support socks as hve lymphodema
so need something to cover them and also a pair of shoes that have a back in as can't grip with toes in awful socks so mules out of the ?:(:(:(I am taking the Monsoon white/multi skirt I bought at the airport last year plus lots of ts and camis in colours from it and a white ss cardi to save space.
we are not off till March:rotfl:but it takes a while to sort then weigh stuff!
going to a lunch on thursday so planning a freedom day wearing things together i would not usually choose as being picked up so anything goes really:rotfl:0 -
just ordered two new swimsuits from tesco ....what a carry on!!!!site was slow, they asked for a mobile when I never use one except for emergencies so no point in them having it as never turn it on!!!Then when I put in my postcode to choose the store I pick them up at they put it to go at a different store many miles away so took me another 5 mins to get it right:mad::mad::mad::mad:....only buy from them as cheapest swimsuits I can find and am desperate for a new one as my current one almost transparent at the back:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:(I swim 3 times a week so they don't last ,even the special fabric ones0

Has anybody done the thing where you turn all your hangers round the "wrong" way and put them the "right" way round when you've worn that particular item? I thought I might try it to get some freedom days.0
