Ok first spend to declare today after an amazing money saving January and was much needed after a very friendly bra wire decided to introduce itself to my b00b very painfully, one bra out and a new one in to replace. Thankfully it didnt come out in the washing machine although per the labels most of mine say handwash only .
Just £5.00 spent so far on a bra left over in a sale should have been £24  but fits like a dream !
Also had a few freedom days of late as the weight is coming off some of my clothes are starting to fit again, 2 work trousers bought at charity shops which were a little to tight to wear are now regulars on my monday to friday work run :T

I know, i love wearing jeans and a hoody but when you meet new people and one of the first questions of their mouths is ' how are your GCSE's going?' it gets rather wearing! i think i may avoid some of the assumptions if i dress older. Was debt free then ex walked out and COVID hit.0 -
A Freedom day is when you wear something you have had in your wardrobe for ages but have never worn, or haven't worn in ages, so people think it's something new you've bought. You're 'freeing' a past purchase!:)
It started as 'Freedom Friday' but now we just free on any day we fancy!:D0 -
Jan was the first month in the past ten years I have not bought a stitch of clothing and I am chuffed to bits! I didn't think it was possible! I set myself a really tough budget of £ 100 this year as I have no space whatsoever for clothes and I always seem to wear the same things! I got a new job out of the blue a few days ago so will need to get a few smartish things! Have only spent £35 on clothes for my 2 young kids too....miracle! Got 2 new coats with matching hats and scarves for next year!Bargain! Have asked relatives for clothes/gift vouchers for birthdays this year too as the house is coming down with toys!
This site has really motivated me...don't want to sound like a complete idiot but today I set up online banking and opened an e saving account! Gonna save a pound a day for xmas and hopefully won't feel the pinch next Dec!No more toys til Xmas 2022 , mfw 2023 challenge , Trying to not waste food , time or money and appreciate the moment more!0 -

I live in my jeans and hoody too and I am 29.
I always get asked for ID, even when buying paracetamol!!
I don't see why I cant stay comfortable as I get older though0 -
When your fast approaching or even reached your thirties and you are still getting asked id take it as a compliment some people the same age as you may not be getting the same kinda comments would u rather look youthful or like someones granny?
Plus from experience the odd cheapo 16-19 year old bus ticket given by mistake by the bus driver does help the pocket by a 1/3 :rotfl:if they dont ask for id or my age i'm not gunna correct them even if i havent applied to that category for 10 years.
Some people my age are now going bald and grey  , i'll take the showing my id any day over that!HSBC [STRIKE]£3223.20[/STRIKE] £2060.00Cap1 [STRIKE]£1724.91[/STRIKE] £1782.00OD [STRIKE]£939.78[/STRIKE] £200.00No 49 of £2012 in 2012.. £645.10 so far & Crazy Clothes £14.09/£100.00 ReducingtheToiletryStash2012 UU12/IN 20 March Grocery 0.00/£65.00 & LbsNot£s Lost 14Lbs0 -

Yep, there's definitely something rather satisfying about doing a weekly shop and still being asked for ID for alcoholMy OH says its because of how I dress and my build...I prefer to think it's my youthful looks

I was once at the bus stop, stood next to a beautiful mum with a gorgeous wee daughter. A lady came along and commented on how cute the wee lassy was, then asked me "Was I the granny?"
I died inside... then went and told everyone in work, because theres embarrasment and then theres a really funny story0 -
Not taking my spends back yet, naughty me, was snowing & cold here so went for a carvery instead! Will be going to town tomorrow..no excuses!
I'm sat here in my jeans & hoodie, i'm 32. Hoodies are great, keep you warm and good for my feeling 'fat' days!0
