A Freedom day is when you wear something you have had in your wardrobe for ages but have never worn, or haven't worn in ages, so people think it's something new you've bought. You're 'freeing' a past purchase!:)

It started as 'Freedom Friday' but now we just free on any day we fancy!:D

First thing to declare! Had my black "suede" knee high boots re-heeled - £7.50 for metal tips. I'd actually like to buy something tomorrow but as I lose weight I'm finding it really difficult to find the right size clothes that might last a while. I'd like a new top - I'm living in black baggy jumpers at the moment!

    Freedom day for me today!
Found a purple and pink tie-dye skirt (not as bad as it sounds!) in the wardrobe so have put that on with some warm leggings and a grey jumper.
I'm only pottering around the house, but I feel so glamorous in a skirt. I never wear them!!

Thanks everyone who gave me suggestions on vest tops, I'll deff have a look around. Annoyingly I did see some in the Fat Face spring catalogue that dropped on my doormat today...look just like what i'm after but £12 each  If only I hadn't opened the catalogue :doh:however, I do wear them a lot so I might have a look instore and see the quality, £ per wear they'd prob end up 1p each :rotfl:

Thanks FE - I bought eehem, two :o coats in the winter sale from them (my goodness one is getting it's wear in this weather) and the 8 in those fit fine, but then I guess coats and vests are different ball games. I think I'll have to head out once I have done my wardrobe clear out armed with a list of 'essentials' (including a new bra to replace the one that lost a wire in the wash) and try a load on.

I've got a confession to make.....

wondered into Monsoon and saw the remanants of their sale along the back wall, all in size order!! had a look see and bought.... a woolie/tweedy type pinafore dress with sparkles round the neck and a black cutout type pinafore dress and a cotton top for £28 and then an extra 20% off at the till. Bargain, as I will shorten both of them and use them as tunics (wear tunics a lot as they are warm with a long sleeve t and thermal vest under and then over trousers) as I may or may not have said, I walk and cycle everywhere so I like my rear kept warm!!

Its very cold today and I hope everyone is keeping warm and snuggly...

ok i have been spending! I'm offically declaring £1.50 on a pair of gorgeous stockings and unoffically declaring £5 on 5 unknown items! I've bought a bundle on ebay with a minimum of 5 BNWT items. They're left over stock from a closed down store. Anything i dont like will be put on ebay!

I definately need abit of a gee up with dressing my age. I seem to live in jeans and a hoody which is fine except i'm 26 (in two weeks!) and i've always mistaken for being under 18! time to start dressing like a grown up!
Was debt free then ex walked out and COVID hit.

I succumbed to a reduced top in Debs today - a very nice blouson style that will look lovely with a pencil skirt or trousers. £15.80 reduced from £38 and I decided to go for it when it fitted really well and I thought about what I could buy for £15 instead. Plus it's pretty classic in style so should last well for a few years too

When I eventually go on a night out I'll give it a whirl - anyway total updated and I'd better not buy anything else for the rest of the month to catch back up otherwise I'll be going well over!
