Great work debbiedeejay,
I bought a new pair of boots last year (2010 actually) & thought the soles were very thin so had those done before wearing them. I wasn't aware you could buy kits from ebay to DIY though - thanks for that tip0 -
Oh thanks Debbie - I always get extra soles put on boots etc and didn't realise you could DIY them, that will save money and hassle at trips to the cobbler :j
I have my first spend of 2012 as I bought some red leather gloves today - £15 reduced from £35. Really pleased with them as they are a good fit, and lined, AND long enough to go well over my wrists. Should last for years and plain red will go with lots of winter clothes. Plus they are smart enough for work and evenings as well as every day
So that's £15/ £500 so far. I have one exception to make to this year's challenge - I'm not going to include exercise gear.

Speaking of exercise gear I wanted to get some for the gym in ... larger size than the gym clothes I have. Boo to my big bum! But tesco clothing wouldnt accept my vouchers (said the code was wrong) and I wont get them without money off. So still not bought clothes, even when I've been in sainsbury and tesco and peacocks after work! (These places and primark get me, cus its "such a bargain" lol)0

Hi - please can I join in? I have plenty of clothes and as I'm in debt I don't think I need any new ones this year unless some fall apart. For this reason I'll set my budget as £100, in the hope that I don't even need to spend this much. Thank you.Pay debt in 2012 #278 £2347/£5364
