Hello & welcome to the challenge to our newcomers:
kellbobs, Cabby, VJsmum, tintingirl, blackberyycurved & swarovski.
It's entirely up to you which items you include in your challenge & how much you aim to spend.
This challenge is on the DFW board because it was orignally started with the aim of helping myself & other members to clear their debts sooner by spending as little as possible on clothes, so I'd suggest that anyone who is in the process of repaying debts, should try to make only essential clothes purchases0 -
Heya, I want to clear my credit card, so will set my budget at £200. Thought about making it £201.20p but thats a bit confusing
Need some new trainers at some point...

I went to H&M with two £5 off vouchers - got them before 2012. I got a pair of lounging pants for £2 instead of £14.99 ( £7 in sale ) - my first pair of these - look really comfy. With the second £5 voucher I got a long sleeve top and a pair of knickers for £1 - (£7.99 and £7 originally )Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Oh dear last night I came so close to breaking this month's budget, note to self, steer clear of the grabbit! board...
Went onto the office website and saw some reeally good reductions £60 down to £12 etc, in a frenzy i added two pairs of sandals to the basket, 'for the summer', and a pair of gaga esque heels. I clicked check out and stuff and stopped at the credit card bit!
They were nice but they weren't anything special, i looked on the kurt geiger website and saw what i could get for that money, £48, could get a pair of kurt geiger london shoes (£220 originally) ! But thats a lot of money for a pair of shoes i dont need, yet i was gonna spend that much on three pairs i dont need!
So now these office shoes looked cheap and badly made in comparison, i did the right thing and will save up for really nice pair of kurt geigers instead, maybe :cool:0 -

evening all, just a quick note to say I have bought no clothes at all this year so far! It is a mammoth achievement not to have lurked on ebay or rummaged in a charity shop. I wore a pair of monsoon cords that I have had for ages, they were barely worn - I rescued them from a bag of stuff that was going on ebay xmas 2010! they looked great with a pair of boots that I havent worn for over a year.
I have joined the declutter challenge, so dont want to undo all my hard work by buying new clothes!
great to see everyone is doing so well, keep it up.

Crazy Clothing Challenge 2015 £48.58/£200 :eek:0 -
I have a lot of spends to declare, mostly clothes and accessories to wear for my sister's wedding next weekend. I still need to get a pashmina or shrug (will probably get both as in full panic mode and most definitely don't want to be cold!) I also need to take back a couple of 'why did I buy that?' purchases, so will tot up my total when I've finished acquiring, returning and swapping items!
I will then gladly avoid the shops for at least three months to try and nurse my finances back to health and save some of my budget for later in the year!0 -
Still no spends for me to declare, I was out with family today and did tell my mum I was doing this challenge, told her my budget / target and she :rotfl:.... oh dear I think I might buy more than I realisedFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
