wearing one of my new bras (£9.75) a Debs one red and black(very sexy!) and loving the uplift and shape....just goes to show that spending £82 on a bra is not necessary.......I got that one for a mystery shop before you all faint:rotfl:)
wearing a "whyonearth"top today as in why on earth did you buy a top in a colour that does not suit you with puffed sleeves and horenzontal stripes?............only going to aqua fit so does not matter....actually could do aqua in the garden as soooooo wet:(:(:(:(0 -
Rosemary - I have quite a few of those "whyonearth" tops, they're now in a pile for t'ebay.
Someone at work commented on how nice and slim I was lookiing today (in my £5 sainsbugs polo jumper) well worth the £48 I spent there to hear a comment like that xx0 -

It's frustrating that bras are like any other clothes - different sizes in different shops/styles! Would be much easier if we didn't have to keep trying them on! I think it's better to learn how to tell if it's fitting correctly. I watched a Gok Wan show once and that helped. He said that you shouldn't be able to pull the straps more than an inch above your shoulders. Also when you first buy it, it should be worn on the tightest hook around the back - then when it stretches you can move to the next hooks.Virtual Sealed Pot Challenge #148 - £59.93

I've always been told you should wear a new bra on the loosest fitting, so that when it stretches, you can use the tighter fittings to get the appropriate level of support.
Even in the same shop, different bras in allegedly the same size can differ greatly and it's really frustrating.0 -
I'm not counting it as part of the challenge as it's as much a disability aid as a fashion item, but I have just got the most fantastic pair of fur-lined Crocs clogs, ideal for use as slippers.
I needed something to keep my feet warm but as I have a dropped foot I had given up with furry fabric slippers, I've broken down countless pairs when they didn't stay on my foot properly or my ankle turned in them through lack of support.
I even tried riding my trike in them today - I couldn't face taking them off to go out! No problem.
I have a pair of 'mock Crocs' that offer nowhere near the same level of support, but the real McCoy are highly effective. Great arch support and huge comfort.
Ordered online - they are on offer at the moment- they arrived from Holland within 3 days and that was over a weekend. Fantastic service.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0
