Brednall. Love the Fuschia card, really pretty.

Ailsb. Love 'A Good Marriage', really colourful.

Not sure I'll get much stitching done today. Hubby is working from home this morning then away for the night so I'm off out visiting later. Might do some this evening while soaps are on.

Brednall - that fuschia card is lovely!

    [QUOTE=
gildius - great progress, are you using a frame while you work? How many hours of stitching are you managing each day - just wondered if you have a target for completion?
    [/QUOTE]

I'm not using a frame - I've used one before for smaller things, but I don't like having the canvas pulled so tight that I have to push the needle through and back again each time. I like stitching through two holes at once, if you know what I mean; it speeds me up.

I don't really have a target - I'll stitch loads in one evening and then do nothing for a couple of days. I probably average 1-2 hours a day.

Does anyone here use a frame?

Gildius - I always use a frame for anything that is bigger than 7x5. I use either Seista bars or Elbesee (type - not sure if mine is actually called) frame. I'm about to embark on a HAED design which will measure 48"x26" and not sure how I'm going to do this one yet.

Well you've made me think about Christmas :D Would like to do a small cross stittch for Charlie for his 1st Christmas. Whilst looking on fleabay I came across the Margaret Sherry Charlie range, in particular the free pull out of Charlie Bear alphabet which came free with a WOXS. I know I have the chart somewhere but can't lay my hands on it. If anyone has theirs and knows which WOXS it came with I would be grateful if they could let me know. Hopefully this should help me find it.

I've googled it but can only find ebay entries or the full kit coming up.

    Thanks in advance

Here is a fuschia card I have made for my Mum's birthday tomorrow.

Just been looking at the things I have stitched for the craft fair and I really need there to be more hours in the day. I have quite a few cards but I was wondering if anyone on here has any very small stitched pieces suitable for keyrings or coasters that I could buy from you. Please PM if you can help. I have about 15 keyrings, 15 or so cards and maybe half a dozen coasters. Plans to stitch lots more have not gone to plan!!!

    Regards
    Emma

What a pretty card, your mum will be delighted.

Mum really liked the card so just needs a nice frame for it now although I have said I might try and find a better card for it first. Always amazes me that people think I didn't make it though!!! One of her birthday visitors asked me in amazement if I had made it. He obviously didn't know that I had stitched the other two large pictures in my mum's house
