Here is a fuschia card I have made for my Mum's birthday tomorrow.

    SAM_0335.jpg

Just been looking at the things I have stitched for the craft fair and I really need there to be more hours in the day. I have quite a few cards but I was wondering if anyone on here has any very small stitched pieces suitable for keyrings or coasters that I could buy from you. Please PM if you can help. I have about 15 keyrings, 15 or so cards and maybe half a dozen coasters. Plans to stitch lots more have not gone to plan!!!

    Regards

Well I've finished the Good Marriage

Good finished by Ailsb1, on Flickr

    Or have I?

Do you think I need to do a small border, possibly just one or two stitches wide all the way around using variagated thread to pull it together? Feels as if it needs something near the last few lines, but not sure what.

    All comments gratefully received.

ETA: Just looked at my list, 33 projects on there including 5 HAEDs :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Wow. I think you have just taken yourself waaaay past 2014 :rotfl:

gildius - great progress, are you using a frame while you work? How many hours of stitching are you managing each day - just wondered if you have a target for completion?

nmm - I'm looking forward to when you get to the eyes :D What count fabric is that you're using?

Ailsb - It depends on your frame. If you're having one with a mount then I wouldn't bother doing a border. If not, then I would agree that a small border would set it off nicely.

Dorastar - I quite like that design as well, it would be a good way to commemorate the olympics :) LOVE the idea of stitching the medal winners, although we did so well it would have to be a big piece of fabric!! :D:D:D

I have been looking at some more HAED charts after looking at links from so many of you (yep, I'm blaming you lot haha :p) I hadn't looked at many Anne Stokes pictures before but I really like Yule Angel I will look out for the next 'stash enhancement' sale (what a great name for a sale!)

You could try a photoshop border to see what you think? Or perhaps a frame with a nice mount will be enough, i'm useless at deciding stuff :rotfl:

    *Louise* its 16 count, finished size 17 1/4" x 12 1/4" (277w x 196h stitches).

Don't I know it! 2014 was just for my mini plan to get to a HAED :rotfl:

Love everyone's finished projects; Ailsb, Brednall, sweetcarer and pennib :T

Ailsb; I think I would frame A Good Marriage with a mount and not put in a border. And a random thought but maybe put a full stop after the last line so it doesn't randomly end?

Thanks for the comments. Hopefully will be getting this one professionally framed so it will have a mount. Like the idea of finsihing the last line with a full stop - might see if I can do a tiny heart full stop.

What aperture size do your keyrings/coasters have?

Just the standard ones from the Sewandso website - 8.1cm square coaster, 8cm diameter round coaster, keyrings of 50mm x 35mm and round ones with 30mm diameter stitched area.

    Hope this helps
