Brednall - meant to ask you about the caravan design in the magazine. In your opinion is it too female to stitch for a man? Saw a small picture on the front of the magazine this afternoon but couldn't quite make it out.

Maria - I hope you don't mind me stealing your fairy sentence. I charted my own version last night and stitched it this evening for my daughter.

The frame is one of the ones from poundland (I think it's the same one as sweetcarers?) :)

Elle - forest looks amazing. Looking forward to next update pic.

Louise - fairy dust is so pretty and looks really well in that frame. £land seemed to have quite a selection of those frames in various sizes. Ideal for pressie making.

Might move on to 60 age card today. Got 30 one finished last night - except for making up.

We seem to have sunshine again today :j

Here is the caravan design Ailsb. I suppose you could change the curtain colours to make it a bit more masculine

Elle. Love Forest Walk update. I still never cease to be amazed at how cross stitching can look so brilliant.

Going to B&M this weekend for a couple of the frames Louise posted a pic of. Seems the CC slide will fit into them nicely. Going to get one for Sprinkle too to go in the downstairs loo :D

Brednall - thanks for posting the picture. I think it might be a bit too feminine even with changing the colour of the curtains. Will think about something else to stitch him for Christmas.

Isn't it awful that it's not even the middle of August and we are already thinking about Christmas presents.

Fairydust looks lovely, my DD3 is a really tinkerbell fan so might have to stitch her something like that.

titanic now has a funnel!! im having a CBFA week so everything else is sliding, apart from my cross stitch, all ive done today is stitch talk to mum text my brother and sister nd even played on the xbox with youngest cos he asked so nicely. got to shake myself out of it and do something constructive this afternoon. Might stitch again tonight

Thanks everyone. The more I do the more I'm inspired to finish! I'll take a close up picture next time as it's quite funny how the green colours all go together when you look at it from a distance as it doesn't look 'right' when you look close up but it is coming along and I'm really happy with it.

I bought three  HAEDs yesterday. They are:

    http://heavenandearthdesigns.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=193_199_200&products_id=3203

http://heavenandearthdesigns.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=160_344&products_id=5858 (I like Spanglers designs too Alisb. They are really adorable and I love the colours.)

    and lastly this one

    http://heavenandearthdesigns.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=160_242&products_id=8774

I'll probably never get them all done and all the others in my stash in one lifetime.

Take care everyone. See you soon
