    Oh, and while I know Winnie the pooh kits are a bit lame, its been a long time since I stitched so want something easy and cute to ease me back in!

    I personally think that this statment should be retracted, because Winnie the Pooh is awesome and I will not hear of anyone say otherwise (my god children/children I look after from time to time, will get story time in a fort (generall winnie if they are the right age) over watching the goggle box with the wiggles on it.... shudder.... now if some one is stitching a Wiggles kit.... thats when I would worry.

    love to you alllllll.
    I Love My Library....when I finish/don't like a book, no one gets upset when I return it!

  • i was going to say i love winnie as well, theres no such things as a lame kit, you stitch what you want or enjoy stitching or the oerson you stitch for will aprechiate.

    Lol!! Sorry for calling a winnie the pooh kit lame – after looking through some of the amazing pictures on here I felt my choice of kit was, well, lame!

    In my defense, I used to do them the first time around and really enjoyed them – they are fun and colourful and aren’t that hard on the eyes with regards to different shades of a colour (which is also good for when I have a glass or 3 of wine on the go!!)
    Maybe after these I will ‘up my game’ and go for something more difficult but in the meantime I will have fun with Pooh!!
  • welocme to our stitching group to you as well phian, what are you working on at the moment

    LOL - they're not lame at all, and your reasons for choosing them are spot on. If you're just getting back into it then you need something which you really WANT to stitch. If you went for somthing too complicated you would lose interest quite quickly.

    No matter anyway, a few months on this thread and you will have a 'want' list as long as your arm :D

    I been on here 2 years..you should see mine!!:eek::rotfl:

    Sorry to be a bit late getting onto the new thread, can't believe you guys are on page 46 already. Great looking through all of your lists for 2012 and projects.
    I just got back into cross stitching and made a couple of Hello Kitty pictures which I made into bags for my nieces for xmas (forgot to take a photo before I gave them away though).
    I am starting 2012 possitively and enthusiastically with a huge ballerina project so will try to get a picture on here soon. Hoping it isnt too much and I will lose interest!! Got a few things in mind for xmas presents 2012 :eek:. Terrible thinking about that now but we cross stitchers have to think well ahead.
    Good luck with your projects everyone.
