ohh PP I have had more then enough of straying onto the other boards have nothing but rudeness from any of them.
AHH B00TS say no more!!! I had no contact from them until a debt collectors letter arrived one day. over yes surprisingly THEIR mistake (they paid me a months wages for the month AFTER I had left!!!) I wrote to them numerous times - eventually called head office after nearly a year (and followed it up with a letter recorded delivery) stating when they sent me the falsified time sheet (I was on a nil hours contract) and my payslip for that month I would pay it back............. they couldn't so the debt collectors handed it back and told them to do one (well I assume as i've never heard anything since).loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
Not done anything lately but I have ordered some aida from ebay and used some of my accumulated amazon vouchers for some cheap threads - apparently not ones which correspond to DMC colours so will have stick to using them for small things and buy some 'proper' DMC colours when I'm more confident and find something biggish I want to attempt. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Hi all haven't posted for ages but have been keeping upto date.
I've done no stitching since before Christmas (hangs head in shame). I took my tiger for a trip to my dads yesterday, took it out and looked at it and put it away again. Have no enthusiasm to finish it. Don't know whether to "shelve" it and start something for myself, perhap Footprints or the stitchers room from WOXS last year.
Soulie - you are the reason I've posted tonight. Can't believe it's been 12 months since your brother died. I think it's a lovely idea to start the eagle today.
Hugs to all.Cross Stitch Cafe Member #59 :j

pm2326 and b_e_g - great progress.
I haven't bothered with a progress shot this week as I haven't done enough stitching! I'm going to start a second project to give me a break from it and remind myself that I do actually love stitchingI've got to find a decent unicorn/magical looking pony design to start for my daughter.
augustsmummy - glad you had a good time with your dad, good luck for Feb 6th.

Not done any actual stitching for ages now, just don't seem to be able to gather any motivation, does anyone else feel guilty when they don't do any?, I think I do because of the money I spend on it (when we dont have much, even though I usually use any bday money or Xmas money I get) for it to turn just sit there doing nothing seems a waste!
Been making little pinnies for the girls at Mias party, hoping to get them finished during the day today ( will post piccies if anyone is interested) and then see if i can get myself in the mood for xstitch tonight, hope everyone has a good day

It is clear to me now that they are unable to admit that yeah they did make a mistake but I have to pay back to overpayment. Instead they have to lie and slander. stupid. The only reason I was fighting is because the way they worded it made it seem like if it had been their fault and not mine (which they are still admient it was) then I wouldnt have to pay it. It has now been explained cutousey of one of the other boards, regardless whose right, i still have to pay it back. Now if someone had calmly dicussed that with my 9 months ago I would have added it onto my debt figuer and worked it far far away. Instead I have a nice new debt that I'm comited to and I'm currently between jobs again. (new one should start friday fingers crossed which is the good part of the day, 4 recruitment companies calling me up with interveiws and job specs)
I am so tempted to get my mate to drive me to leamington spa to literally punch my ex manager. and I'm not a violent person. I'm a happy stitchy person. But when hes the one that has lied about what happened bullied me when i was there, caused me injury and has now had the nerve to right in a letter " ***** went off sick due to a minor injury that most people would ignore" err he wasnt in that day, I sliced m finger right through to the bone on a sheered bottle of nail polish during delieryy and fainted due to shock/low blood sugar. yep I'm sure EVERYONE would ignore that.
GRRR
anway,,, back to my "keep calm" coasters......maybe they will subliminally work on my mind frame.
Sorry to hear you are having so many problems with your ex employer. Regarding the accident it should have been recorded in the company accident book - do you know if this was done? You could ask for a copy to challenge the comment made by your ex manager.0
