Hi, I looked, but couldn't see anything on the fb page, could you please tell me what you have as I am currently collecting a stash for my charity stitching for this year and next, hoping to get started on my charity stitching soon :T

I have lots of bits & pieces for your charity sewing can you pm your address and I'll post them out to you free :D

I also have loads of mags going free too, (just postage at cost) if there are no takers then I will have to recycle them :( They are just in my way and I need to clear them. I have tried facebook, freecycle and ebay. The charity shop doesn't want them either.

Started Earth *Louise* gosh it's hard work on black aida..... do yo have a daylight bulb?

Hi tryinghard - just wondered whereabouts you live - if it was anywhere near me so that I could collect the magazines.

THe other alternative - our stitchy shop has a charity basket for magazines which they sell on for 50p each for the local air ambulance charity.

    Regards

    Hello ladies,
The above is the card I finished today for my FIL birthday. I just hope he likes it.
Hope everyone is having a stitchy day (I am not - as the kids are being challenging!)

Do you have any Cross Stitch Crazy? I'm looking for issues 160-163.

I don't use a daylight bulb, I have a normal uplighter behind my sofa and use light fabric on my lap so I cn see the holes better

I got my pictures back from the framer today, really pleased with them - will take pics of them later, we are off out for a meal just now :)

No stitching today as been out in town for a spot of lunch then did a bit of shopping . Have just completed my Mr T order ready for tomorrow (mainly consists of cat food!) Watched a little bit of the Olympics this morning. Quite looking forward to the diving next week although I think I will have to record it as will be out at work. Go Mr Daley! I watched the archery this morning and was quite transfixed by it. (1) because it was at Lords Cricket Ground and (2) because I just don't see the appeal ? But I was fascinated how they focussed before letting the arrow go.

Quiet day at home planned for tomorrow. Taken dinner out the freezer so little faff in the kitchen needed and will wave the magic wand to get the housework done! :rotfl:

Too tired to do any cross stitching tonight so will start my new project tomorrow instead. Got the last two threads i needed in town today. :j

Evening folks - just a quick question....my first since joining the groyp, and promise to post some pics soon!

I want to the Emily Peacock 'happy happy house' from Cross Stitcher Apr 2012 but change the colours slightly to match the d!cor in my parents dining room - monochrome/grey. So, just wanted to ask if anyone has stitched on the lurex silver flecked white aida? I wanted to add a bit of something to it, and not just black/white/grey!

    Any suggestions gratefully received!!

I have! Mainly christmas designs, I think, but I did stitch a wedding design on pale blue lurex aida and something else on bright red lurex aida. I love it & it gives a more special feel to things. Have a look in my album if you'd like to see some pics of my sparkly stitching. Some are on evenweave ('Dear Santa...' was and I think both 'Spool Tree' designs were)
