and finally mum brought me this book the other day when she visited it is perfect for dd blanket and has lots of patterns in it that are the perfect size



next job i think is to make a start on brothers xmas present as i have everything i need to make it

My favourite card is the elephant with the '5' - I love the colours in it Where do you buy the cards with the circular aperture?

I love the first fairy, and the writing looks lovely and fancy. I have that book upstairs, on't think I have stitched anythign out of it will need to look it out sometime

Thank you the cards came hobby craft I got them last Xmas I think they were £1.49 for a pack of 6 so not a bad price really, I love the book! The elephant card was in another book my mum gave me, its for my dd best friend

evening all
beautiful photos and some lovely bargains off ebay you all seem to be getting.
ive had another lazy day with titanic in the lovely sunny garden. im on the 2nd iceberg now so almost finished the 2nd page. hope the hot weather carries on a bit longer;)

i think its probally her being careful, you wouldnt have been happy if you got stung your end for underpaid postage, when i sent a single skien of thread recently i had to pay large letter postage as the skein wouldnt fit through the plastic slot on the post office guide. so the penguin kit probally wouldnt either

Favourite Place To Stitch

I like to stitch while watching tv on my sofa.

How I started

My Gran taught me to knit and my mum taught me to cross stitch. I did some needlework at infant school which is framed and still intacted. I taught myself to make rugs and long stitch. I can’t knit now, which is a shame as I would love to knit things for new babies and knit scarf’s.

I would love to learn how to use a sewing machine and also to have a sewing machine :rotfl:

I have come into some money and don’t know what to buy with it. :j
Shall I buy a complete set of DMC threads? I dont know if I can see myself using all the colours in the set though.

I am going to buy bewitching book by Joan Elliott. RUcraft used to sell the book with some threads, but they it has gone from their website and they only sell the book now, does anyone know where the book and the threads come as a set?

I am also going to buy one of those frames that everyone or nearly everyone has, can someone point me in the direction again please?

I am also looking for a smallest 5 x 7 ish design for a 40th anniversary? Has anyone seeen any on their internet searches?
