Be honest - have you asked me to post it so you can say to him 'at least I'm not that bad for stash!!' :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Actually, now I have looked that out, I'm going to go and submit it to WOXS like I was supposed to months ago:o Thanks :)

Thanks, nope he didn't believe me when I said how much one person had lol
His reaction when I showed him was 'Just one or two then' :rotfl:
And yep you deffo should get it sent off to WOXS, and it should win star letter of the month I think!

More stash arrived today :T 3D Flower Shop, Lickle Ted, and Tigger. Now who was it I was bidding against with Tigger and wanted to know if it had the DMC colours in it?
Well by the looks of things it does have the DMC colours though it doesn't say DMC above the numbers, it does have black down as 310, so I would think so.
Anyways here is the colours I have on the Tigger chart:

    310 - Black
    727 - Lemon
    747 - Ice Blue
    776 - Pale Pink
    900 - Burnt Orange
    947 - Orange
    972 - Yellow
    907 - Lime Green

I'm sure you will be pleased that you didn't win it though, as on the auction it said the packaging had been opened, which is true, but they hadn't attempted to even use cellotape to re-seal it, and although it also said it was from a smoke free house, I can smell stale nicotine on the fabric. Okay I can wash it before I stitch it, but I would have rather her be honest about it.

Anyways, speaking of stash, I got a little bit lucky....
I ordered some fabric, (not saying where from), and they sent the order out twice, though the first order was sent at a different time. So now I have some extra evenweave, which has been nicely tucked away in my stash box. This is wrong of me is it? As it was their mistake.

Sorry to hear that :( Hope you're feeling better now

I don't mind to much when it rains (and we have had a lot of that lately!) I like getting snuggled up on the sofa with a cuppa and having the perfect excuse to stitch.

Oh yes! Hubby wanted me to make it so I will be getting a silver frame and it will go up in the hall. :j I don't think there is anyone who would appreciate as much as us lol.

this is where i always e-mail the seller!!

    something along the lines of
"I love this kit, however I am sure I can smell stale nicotine on this kit/ fabric which must have been an oversight on your part as you have stated it is from a smoke free home.
As sending it back by recorded delivery seems a bit extreme when it I can wash it, perhaps you would consider a partial refund? I would like to give you a chance to rectify this before leaving feedback"

It generally works if you have a good seller. otherwise they know you could open an 'item not as described' claim and they will be forced to refund.

We ordered an item the other day that was 'complete'. however when we got it bits were missing and others were substituted.
I e-mailed to say this and that hubby would be happy to get the correct bits so perhaps a partial refund of £1.50 to cover this would be accepted? he agreed. it was a bargain price when i got it, even better after the refund.

louise earth is lovely - will look amazing framed.

See, I normally would have, but as the kit only cost £1.04 (plus 90p P+P), it doesn't really seem worthwhile. I did leave her positive feedback but did mention the smell but that I could easily wash it.

Speaking of eBay though, I won a TINY penguin kit last week for 99p, and the P+P was £1.10 which, after receiving the item, I may have complained a little about. The kit barely weighed anything (14g envelope included).
It was put in a small jiffy bag, 16cm x (almost) 13cm.
The kit IS very small and measures (in it's cellophane) 9cm x 11cm.
But she put a 1st class LARGE stamp on it, which I believe is 90p plus the 20p for the packaging (which is fine). But I think for what it is, 90p was a bit too much, and it could have been sent with a regular 1st class stamp!
Maybe the yorkshire in me is being a bit tight, but I just don't see the point in overpaying on P+P.

Oh well, shouldn't complain TOO much I suppose, as the 3D Flower Shop kit I got today had £2.70 postage on it, where it was listed on eBay as £1
