I've stitched this & it's a nice chart. I do like the other one, but I think there's more work in it than it looks. So many lovely (and varied!) wedding charts & kits around...Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

I saw that Lizzie Kate one also, but it seems to suit a card rather than something to display for a longer persiod of time because of the 'Just married' wording.
And yes, the other one does have more work to it, but it is still fairly small and I have until next August to do it lol

Good point. I think the people I stitched it for have now broken up (after less than 4 years!). A year is a decent amount of time to stitch the other design, even with all the other projects you're working on.
I'm itching to stitch something tonight, but not sure what yet. I've got a few UFO's out ready. Can't decide what I'm in the mood for...Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

Sadly no stitching managed this afternoon as I was intending. Instead I snoozed, woke up and instead of getting up, snoozed again. I feel completely wiped out so hope I'm not sickening for something and that it was just too much sun and walking yesterday. (walking round the shops/sitting by the beach is hard work :rotfl:)
Back to the office tomorrow. Boo hiss. Weekend has disappeared far too quicklyRoll on the next.
Soulie - I prefer the Lizzie Kate design over the Nia Wedding Sampler but do like some of her other designs (the new baby one is fab). I agree though that the Lizzie Kate one is more of a card design. There are more pics on her website if the sew and so ones aren't very clear.0 -
I was in Sainsbury's today and picked up some frames:
A third off one black and one white 8x10 aperture box frames (under a fiver each) I like these because they have mounts with them so they look quite professional once they are finished.
Half price for a pack of three red 8x10 frames (£3.50) these are going to be great for some Christmas designs as gifts. I know my sisters are both looking for something nice after seeing my Christmas trio last year with the kids names on.Might do a new pic for my mum as well, I dunno, not sure she will be feeling too into Christmas this year

sweetcarer - glad to hear you enjoyed your little break.
nmm - lovely update. Good luck with August challenge.
Louise - good prices on the frames at Sainsburys - will have to pop through to see what I can find.
Have had quite a good stitchy session today and will try to post pic tomorrow.SPC NO 041STARTED SW 04/14 - TARGET 05/16 - TOTAL LOSS 10ST 3.5LBS :dance:0 -
Well I got stuck in and actually did something with those frames instead of letting them sit in a cupboard....
'Roly and Mo' (I'm sure that's what they're called lol)...they have sat in a cupboard for a few years now, not sure how long as I hadn't dated it, so I stitched 2012 on and will use it as an xmas gift this year
I was going to put it in a red frame to make it christmassy but thought the white represented the feeling of an expanse of snow much better
Some of you will remember the trouble I had getting the chart for 'Swan Queen' last year, so here she is framed:
And I dug way down nearly to the bottom of my 'completed' box and found these swans from 2004:Cross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219. They look great!
OH went to Sainsbury's today and I told him to look out for frames, but they don't sell them at the one he went to
Can you do me a favour please? Re-post the photo of all your unframed finished pieces please, I told the OH about them and he doesn't quite believe me LOL
The Willow Flower Fairie kit came today that I won on eBay, just 9 more items to come (for now)13 Projects in 2013 Finished: 5 of 13
