subtle not a good day for you then.
Right am off to get some backstitch attempted........... but if anyone blogs and thinks they can help me please do (feel free to post on my diary thread or PM me so as not to go too off topic here.) here's my problem.....to blog or not to blog...............that is the question.
Ok so this WAS to be my blog.
However apparently you can't just post in each page. E.g. I want to post Cross stitch stuff in cross stitch, £365 posts in 365 etc etc etc.
So does anyone else use a different (free) blog programme that will let me do that?? am finding it hard to use this MSE thread to track what I want as well as I want.
TA.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
OHHHHH FYI as I know we previously discussed it here.....
The hunt for Jesus Christ Superstar - cunningly titled "superstar" is on Sundays at 8 on ITV (or 9 on +1 lol) .....when did that start............and why did no-one tell me?

Hi all, I am still lurking here in the background!
Can I ask some advice please? I love your Earth project you are doing *Louise* and I have found this one

But when I look for 18ct black aida, it all comes in fat quarter, half meter etc so I am confused now. Would you order the chart first then see exactly how much aida to order? Thanks for your help8 years of being on a DMP finished 3/3/140 -
Allmost there chicky
Thanks FOScotland they are all quite big pretty much everything i have ever done for myself and the kids, my mum suggested trying to sell them but i would be heart broken if they sold for silly money.
Really nice louise i love that fabric

Subtle sorry you are having such a bad
Sorry chicky cant help you with blogs
Was planing on having everything done by lunch time so i could spend the afternoon/ evening sewing but after i had spent all morning running around i came over all perculiar like i did before so had a lay down for a hour and then i realised that i had run out of iron tablets days ago and maybe thats why i felt poo so run out to buy tablets and by the time i got home dinner was ready, then i had to do baths, homework, washing away and washing up so everntually picked up a neddle at half 6 at half 8 hubby gave me the hump and i cant sew with the hump so i put it away so the long and the short of it is i have achieved very little today! lol, apologies for the rant !
i promise not to do it again13 in 2013 challenge 9/130 -

It started last night - I didn't think much of it tbh, didn't get to see many of the awful singers which is all the fun of watching. No one jumped out at me either.Oh apart from that Jonathan from G4's audition, I was surprised at his cheek!

Ohhh that's much bigger than mine, and on 18ct - good luck with that lol :T
A fat quarter (19.5x21.5in)won't give you enough space around the edge to work with. Sewandso has the perfect size (39x43in) but unfortunately they are out of stock atmCross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219. Thanks *Louise* I will wait until Sew & Sew have it back in stock, but I think it maybe a project too far!!
I might get that one like yours instead if you don't mind me copying you, it just makes a change from the usual charts you see about. and i need to get my stitchy bug back!8 years of being on a DMP finished 3/3/140 -

I don't mind in the slightest.
I don't see it as copying anyway, I have merely introduced you to a new design. The ladies on here have done that to me numerous times in the past few years lol, honestly my to do list was tiny before I discovered MSE

Chicky - You must be so pleased to be nearing the end! I love the design, would attempt it myself but just can't fit it in
My friend saw the little baby picture I made for my niece and asked if I could please make one for her new grandson. She offered to pay for it as she appreciates the time that goes into stitching but there is no way I could charge her anything and told her to accept it as a gift.
I actually think it looks better than the first one and I will use this layout in future. Plus I have had that fabric sitting in a bag for over two years and it was nice to finally use it :rotfl:
Louise this is lovely. I agree that this version looks better although I did like the pink one as well. That Impressions aida really works well. Like you I wouldn't charge a friend - I would just be delighted that they appreciated the amount of effort that goes into something like this.0 -
Hi Flat Eric and welcome back from your hols. You asked for comments so mine are here.Ok fellow stitchers, afternoon poll coming up.... the birthday money I received is burning a hole in my pocket.
I've been into town today and managed to buy a £100 coat for £15 :j and I bought some new clothes while I was on holiday but clothes are boring so I shall probably allocate them from my non existent clothing budget :rotfl:
Excellent bargain
Anyhow, here are some ideas of what I would like to spend my birthday money on - please let me know what you would pick :T
So top of the list is blow all birthday money and more and buy a Wi Console with fitness board (whatever you call them).
How much would you use it?
Or: do I buy more cross stitch stash ? (See note below)
Or: do I join the 21st century and sign up for one of these iphone package deals ? I like the idea of having a smartphone - just not sure I can commit or warrant the expense which I imagine, with insurance will be £50 odd a month?
Agree with other comments that alternatives to the iPhone are great and much better value for money
or do I save the money until there is something stitchy I want ?
This is the right :money: thing to do
Or Do I bulk buy lots of books (not yet published) I want from amazon ???What happened to your challenge of not buying any more books ?
I welcome ideas and suggestions. On the cross stitch front - at christmas I treated myself with my sew and so voucher to unusual threads and material and think if I bought cross stitch stash, I should do the same again. So if there is something unusual that you think is a must buy then please let me know!0 -

I agree it was kept very quiet - I only noticed on Saturday that it started that night (and we've got tickets for the arena tour so really wanted to see it from the beginning).
I watched the tennis (mens' doubles) then switched over to watch Superstar and then back to the tennis at which point DH woke up to ask why we weren't watching the JCS programme as he hates tennis and thought I had deprived him of the programme he wanted to watch0
