I have decided and ordered Sleeping Beauty but not of the Disney variety. Will just have to sit back and wait for it to arrive now.

That is stunning, ooohh, am tempted to go see what I can find on ebay now, can always add a few more kits to the stash to be sewn :p

I'll have a look tonight, but not optmistic as it was a few years ago (I did keep a box of every chart I stitched, but now tend to have a clear our every 2-3 years). I have found it online, it's by Lifetime Samplers Collection, though I could have sworn it was from a magazine such as cross stitch collection

thank you. I coulda sworn i saw it in a mag before as well (but thought i'd imagined it).

According to google, there's a version in Cross Stitch Collection issue 23, from May/June 1996. Not sure if same design though:

ta. I had got as far as "it was in CSC" but couldn't hunt down the issue number :p

worth a try - even if i just get the words charted for me it's easy enough to change a border.

Any of you in Warwickshire - seen this on Ebay and wish I stayed nearer -

    bids starting just at 99p.

Managed to take my stitch to work today so was able to do a wee bit at lunch time - wondering should I put in a card or frame it. It is our 5th wedding anniversery and that is wood half thinking of framing it.

    Kind wishes to all

    sweetcarer ;)

So sad to see someone giving up on a great hobby, hope it's not because she 'has' to (ie. physically can't stitch anymore) :(

Ps - I think a wood frame would be a perect way to finish off the piece :)

    Hi everyone

I think it's been six months since I last posted on here. Sorry it's been so long. I lost my mum in March:( I know others here have lost loved ones as well. My thoughts are with you. Work has been awful recently which isn't helpful.

I've only just caught up with all the posts. I'm still working on Forest Walk and I finished another page a few weeks ago. I'm also working on another design I started in February but I only stitch that at work during my lunch break. I'll post pictures soon.

Shelly: the tiger is beautiful. It reminds me of one of my UFO's (it's ten years old at least )

Louise: I like the design you're doing at the moment, Europe from space. It's really unusual.

I love the IT crowd and darth vader designs. They are going on to the to do list for brother and husband this xmas.

I would like to join in the 13 projects for 2013 as well. I'm sure I can get a few more UFO's done. :T

Best wishes everyone and speak to you soon.

Ooh, not that far away...and my son is much nearer!! DH was up there last Saturday, and will be there again on the 14th, so have put a bid in...will let you know how it goes!! Thanks sweetcarer.
Louise, I hope she's not selling for ill-health reasons too.

I had planned on doing some of my Made in Britain birth sampler tonight... not done any for a few days now. Unfortunately been battling all day with a database I am creating/redesigning. Managed to get it working properly tonight,,,eventually, so achieved something at last today!!

Need to head off now and head for bed...no real time to stop and natter.

So for all those lovely pieces of work being created, well done!! :T:T

Will pop in later on in the week...might even post my progress...which is painfully slow atm :o
